Chapter 1

Today is just another day in the crazy city called Central City. I am at my apartment getting ready for work at CCPD as a sketch artist and CSI. I am wearing blue skinny jeans with a flowery red top I put on red pumps. I curled my hair a little. I grabbed my purse and stuffed my phone in my back pocket. I checked my purse for my wallet to see if I have my money. Once I knew it was in my purse I walked out and locked my door. I walked out on the busy streets of Central City it was busy for it being almost 8:30 in the morning. I went to my favorite place; Jitter's I stood in line. "Arabella hi." I heard a deep voice behind me I turned around. "Barry hi." I said smiling.

"How are you?" He asked. "Tired I couldn't sleep last night." He nodded. "Next." I stood In front of the counter a male barista was giving me googly eyes. I coward back next to Barry. "What can I get you sweetheart?" "Don't call me that and I would like a caramel Frappuccino." He nodded and left. He came back with it a few minutes later. "Do you want to go out sometime?" "No. How much do I owe you?" "$5.75." I paid and left.

"Arabella slow down!" Barry yelled. I stopped and he caught up with me I smiled at him. "Sorry I didn't do anything." "No it's fine a girl cam handle herself once in a while." He chuckled witch was music to my ears. We walked in to CCPD and I went to my lab. I did some work and I was called down because I needed to sketch something. I went to the main place where the officers were and the witnesses to a crime. Joe came up to me. "Hey Joe." I gave him a hug. "Hey Arabella. So I need you to work with a witness that saw the face of a robber." I nodded. I walked over to her. "Hi my name is Arabella and I am going to sketch the person you saw. Let's go to a quieter room? Yeah?" She looked scared. "Yes."

I lead her to an interrogating room. She took a seat across from me. "Ok hun what is your name?" "Um, pearl." "Ok pearl you need to describe this man's face. did he have high cheek bones, round face oval face?" "Ummm, he had an oval face with high cheek bones. He had his left ear pierced." "Ok hold on a minute." After 90 minutes I was done and we left the room. "You did an awesome job pearl." She smiled and left. I gave Joe the picture. "Thanks Arabella." I smiled and went in Barry's lab.

I knocked on his metal door. His head shot up. "Hey Arabella come in." I walked in and towards him. "it has been a busy day." He chuckled. "So are you watching the particle accelerator with me and Iris?" He asked. "Well duh." In came Joe. He looked mad at Barry. "So the robbers were Mark Marden and Clyde Marden. Arabella did a sketch of them from a witness of the crime. Did you find anything useful?" "Yes the tire wheels belong to a Shelby 600 and there was cow poop had an antibiotic that only 4 farms use I bet you will find a sweet Shelby parked at one."

Joe rolled his eyes and Iris came in. She looked at me and smiled. "Arabella hey gurl I haven't seen ya in a while where have you been gurlfriend!!?" She practically screamed I laughed and she jumped in my arms I stumbled but Barry caught me. The boys chuckled. "Damn Iris have you been eating all the food at Jitters?" She got off me and slapped my shoulder. "Ouch! Bitch." "But I'm your Bitch." "Yes you are." I said laughing. "So dad can we all go see the particle accelerator turn on?" Iris asked. "Yes go you dorks." I squealed and me and Iris ran out with Barry behind us we all were laughing. I missed these times.

We all went to STAR labs we walked in the crowd of people. It was darkish out. We smiled when Dr. Wells walked up. "Hello as you all may know my name is Harrison Wells and tonight, tonight is gonna be a big night for all of us." He said chuckling lots of people cheered. Then A man took my purse and Iris's bag with her disorientation. Me and Barry ran after him and it was hard given I was in heels.

We both ran into the alleyway behind STAR labs. We then ran into a dead end and the boy looked scared. "Hey buddy we won't hurt you we just want you to give us my purse and my friends bag please." I said gently. "I-I." "Hey it's ok." I said smiling. I walked closer very slowly. I was face to face. "Can I have these please we will let you go if you just hand over the stuff. Yeah?" He looked at me. Barry was watching in amazement.

"Come on bud give me the stuff." He looked me in the eyes. He punched my stomach and shoved me away I fell on Barry my hands on his chest. "Ow." I said. "You got that right." I looked Barry in the eyes. "Thanks for catching me." Iris came running over to us. I was clutching my stomach. "Oh my god! Arabella are you ok?" "No." Iris sat my head on her lap. "Barry pull up her shirt so we can see her wounds." Barry looked at her and nodded his head. He pulled my shirt up and I saw a nasty bruise.

He gasped at the sight. "Well that is a huge bruise." "Well no duh Barry." Iris said. She pulled down my shirt and Barry helped me up Eddie came over. He gave us our stuff and me and Barry left while Iris talked to him. We went to CCPD and Barry got me ice and him and Iris talked. I went up to his lab. Barry came up and closed his doors. "So I know you are going over your mom's case." I said boldly. He looked at me shocked. I shrugged my shoulders and stood up moving the paper up on the board and was met with Nora Allen's case.

"You do realize I don't believe that your father killed your mother when you were 11." He looked at me and smiled. I turned on the tv to the news so we could watch the accelerator. I went to the window and opened it to let in fresh air. I stood next to Barry reviewing the case and what he has set up. "You believe that My dad didn't kill murder my mom?" "Yes I believe that what you said about a man in a yellow suit did yes." He smiled. Wait now I am getting told that Harrison Well's has to shut the particle accelerator off because of the storm it is going to blow up, we have to evacuate the building.

Our heads shot up to the tv. Barry went over to the chains because the power went out. I looked out the window and saw something coming towards us in a wave. "What is that?" I whispered I moved closer to the window. "Arabella move!!" I Heard Barry say I turned around in time to see him get struck by lightning. Then I turned around and the wave came through the window and hit me. I flew back and landed somewhere. Everything turned black.
