Chapter 12

"Cisco prepare the fucking dummy, make it hard. If I don't do this imma punch Barry." I said angerly. Cisco ran out and I went and changed into training clothes. I walked in the training room and Cisco along with everyone else was watching me with concern. Barry held a guilty expression. Cusco came in with some gloves with padding. "Just in case." He said scared. I smiled. "Thanks Cisco." He smiled back and left.

I put the gloves on and started to punch and kick letting all the anger out. I got punch in the face and I now have a busted lip. I ignored it and kept kicking and punching. After an hour, it was 9 and there was an alarm going off. We all ran to the Cortex. Cisco typed something in the computer. "Fire at Bulverde street it's an apartment building." Fear coursed through me. "That's where Aiden lives." I said. I ran into my room and in less than 30 seconds I was m be running out.

"Barry come on." He picked me up. "This doesn't mean I am still not pissed at you." He nods and runs off. In less than a second we were there and I ran in. I ran to the 5th floor and to Aidens room. I kicked down the door an saw him lying on the floor. I gasped and ran to him. I picked him up and ran him outside. I knelt next to him. Flash ran towards me.

He knelt down next to me. "Go save other people." I said. He nods and leaves, I checked for a pulse and found barely one. it was very faint. Flash came to me. "How is he?" "He barely has a pulse." "I can run him to a hospital." I shook my head. "No I don't trust them take him to Caitlyn and explain everything I will go see if anyone is still in there." he looked hesitant. "FLASH GO!!!" I yelled he nods and kisses my head and picks up Aiden and leaves.

I run in. "HELLO IS ANYONE ELSE IN HERE!!!!??" I hear little foot steps on the second floor. I run up and see a little boy. "Hey, little boy come here I can get you out of here." The boy looked around 2. He looked scared and ran away. I ran after him. I caught up to him. "Hey look at me." He screamed. I took of my mask. "Look I am just a human like you. I am gonna take you to your mom." He looks at me and nods I put my mask back on and I pick him up. I run down the stairs when a big piece of the second floor falls and blocks the door. The boy cried in my arms.

"CISCO I AM STUCK IN THE FIRE WITH A 2 YEAR OLD BIT THE ROOF FELL AND IS BLOCKING THE DOOR WHERE DO I GO!!!!" I yelled. "Hey little man tuck your face on my neck and don't breath in the smoke." He does what he was told I put my face in between his neck and shoulder. I sit on my knees. Reflex there is no other way out.

Cisco said. "Then what do I do I have a 2 year old boy, I can't let him die." I said scared for him. The boy starts cry. "Shh, shh, your fine little man." I whispered.

Reflex Flash is on his way.

"Ok." I answer. I hear a lady yelling for her child. Then I hear other people yell my name. "REFLEX ARE YOU OK!!!!" "YEA BUT THE LITTLE MAN ISN'T FLASH HURRY UP AND HELP US THERE IS NO THER WAY OUT!!!!" I yell. Everyone out there goes quiet. I look at the little man in my arms. I take of my jacket and bunch it up. "Little man breath through this you won't breath in the smoke." I just realized that there was no sound on the other side. They could hear every word I said and so can everyone on the coms.

"What about you?" He then started to cough. "Hey, hey don't talk save your breath bud." He nods. I start to cough. I heard someone hitting what sounded like a heavy thing against the roof. "REFLEX GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR WE ARE KNOCKING IT DOWN!!!" I heard Flash yell. I backed away still holding the little boy against my chest. I looked down. "Hey don't close your eyes." He opened them. I sat back down on my knees. More loud bangs. and I heard a few cracks. I turned and made sure my back was facing the door so nothing hurt the little boy. "A few more minutes little man then we will be out of here." He looked at me and nodded.

He stuffed his face against my chest and I cradled him rocking back and fourth. he started to cough. "Shh, shh. don't cry little man your ok. Calm down." I said gently. The door fell and I looked back seeing a whole lot of people with a big long tree Flash was next to me in, well a flash. I then was out side. I gasped and coughed. I looked at the boy and his eyes were close.

I checked his pulse. It was good. I shook him and he opened his eyes I sighed, then started to cough violently. "Are you ok miss?" The boy asked in his baby voice. I stopped coughing. "Yea I'm fine little man. How are you?" "My chest hurts." "Ok." A women runs up and gives little man a hug and kiss. I was laying my head on Barry's chest watching. "Thank you Flash." I barely said. "I'm sorry about earlier." He said I smile. "I know you are." He kisses my forehead and runs his hand through my hair.

The women looked at me and threw her arms around me. I winced. "I'm sorry. Thank you for saving my son." "It was easy peasy." She laughed. I smiled. I looked at all the men who helped Flash. "Thank you for saving me and Little Man." They smiled. "Thank you for saving us." I nod and Barry helps me up. Little Man gave Barry my jacket back. Barry helps me stand. When he found out I couldn't stand he picked me up. He ran us to STAR labs and he sat me down in a bed next to Aiden's I looked over at him and had tears in my eyes.

Caitlyn came in and did an X-ray of my lungs. There was a pretty good amount of smoke in my lungs. I wish for all the smoke to leave my lungs. "Caitlyn do another X-ray of my lungs." She nodded and did it after a few minutes there was barely any smoke. She looked at me for a minute before she was shocked. She shook her head with a soft smile. I walked out and smiled. "You used your powers didn't you, to heal yourself?" Cisco said. I smiled sheepishly. Caitlyn came out. "Yea she used her powers." I smile. Barry comes and gives me a hug. "Thank god your ok." I laugh lightly.

"You 2 made up?" Joe asked. "Yea when I was laying on the ground catching my breath." Joe nodded and came towards me. He hugged me softly. "Thank god though it was funny to watch Barry be scared of a women." I laughed. Cisco came to me and hugged me tightly. "I am so glad your not dead cause that would suck and because I love you." "Awe I love you too little brother." "Since when was he considered your baby brother?" I looked at him. "Since like week one." Barry nods and smiles.

We heard beeping and I ran into the med bay and saw my brother having a seizure. Caitlyn runs in and so does Cisco, Joe, and Barry. They hold him down while Caitlyn puts a needle in his leg and he stops. I sigh and then the heart monitor goes flat. I cry and sob while Caitlyn does chest compressions and Barry does mouth to mouth. A huge sob racks through my body and I run out. I hear Cisco yell my name. I don't turn back. I run, and run and run, I am at Barry's apartment on the floor crying and sobbing. I don't know how long.
