Chapter 8

Barry went to get some Pizza and soda once we left CCPD. I go and plug in my phone in his bedroom. I come out and pick the movie The Lion King. I get a blanket and Barry gets back. We share the blanket and get some pizza and he starts the movie. "Are you going to cry during the movie?" Barry asks. "Yes." I grab another piece of pizza and are it quickly.

It comes to the part where Simba dies and I cry. I stuff more pizza in my mouth crying. Barry wraps his arm around me and pulls me closer to him. I eat more pizza and drink some soda. I lay my head on his shoulder, and soon close my eyes.

I wake up to my phone ringing. I look at the time it was 2 in the fucking morning. I see I was on Barry's bare chest. I move and grab my phone before it wakes up Barry.

"What the hell do you want and who the fuck is this?" I whisper in an angry tone.

It's Cisco I got an alert on my phone there is a robbery I am driving to STAR labs now Caitlyn is on her way and once you stop the robbery there is a fire.

"Ugh, ok." I hang up

I sigh and shake Barry. "Barry there is a robbery and a fire. Come on lazy ass get up before people die." I get off him and he groans. I go to where my suit is and get it on over my pj's Barry gets his on, I brush my hair quickly and he picks me up and we go to the robbery.

Once we get there cops had there guns out pointing it at the robbers. Barry sets me down in front of the cops. "Is there any hostages?" Flash asks the cops. "Yes there is a family of three their kid is only 4 years old. And 10 other people." Captain says. Barry turns to me. I press my button on my mask.

Ok me and Caitlyn are here. Cisco said.

"Go Flash I got them." Flash nods and runs inside. I yell out to the 3 men. "HIYA GUY'S OR GALS I DON'T GIVE A SHIT IF YOUR A MAN OR WOMAN I HAVE ONE QUESTION!!!" They turn around looking at me. "Yea and what's that pretty lady?" "WHY THE HELL ARE YA ROBBING A BANK AT FUCKING 2 IN THE MORNING??!!!" "Cause it's fun. Now lets dance pretty lady." "Well hurry it up there is a burning building so I don't have time for shenanigan's," I shrug and a guy comes towards me. He goes for a punch but I block him. I kick his stomach then I kick him where the sun don't shine. He hunches over then falls to his knees in pain. I punch his temple and he gets knocked out. I drag him to the cops they looked shocked besides David.

I turn around and am charged at by another man. I duck and he falls to the ground I kick his back and lean down. "Night Night." I punch his temple and he goes out cold. I give the cops the man and I am facing the leader. "You wanna dance too?" He growls. "Ohh, scary." I said sarcastically. he charged me and tries to punch with his left hand I block it but then he punches my side with his right. It was unexpected so I stumble back. I kick his side. He goes to kick forward but I do a back flip, dodging him. I hear people gasp behind me. He hits my face and my lip busts open. I spit blood out of my mouth.

"Now that's not nice say your sorry." I said sniggering. "How about this, go to hell lady." "Ohh, you would be the one going to hell dude for hittin a woman." He rolls his eyes and goes for a kick but I dodge it. I hit his face and see a bruise forming. Flash comes out and stands behind me. "Reflex you need any help?" "Nah, but you could help if you want, you can have this guy I already took out his minions." Flash is next to me in a second. I back up and watch.

He punches the dude and he falls, but he gets up and punches Barry in the side. Barry is suddenly behind the man and kicks his ass and he falls to the ground Barry punches the man and he goes unconscious. Barry drags the man to the cops. We turn around.

Well we must get going there is a fire. Bye." I said. Barry picks me up and runs toward the fire. He sets us down and I press my button again making my voice normal. "Hey guys we are at the fire and it is huge. I'm gonna have to go in and help Flash bring people out."

Ok just be careful. "I will Caitlyn."

I jog in and search the first floor while Barry goes to the second. I find some people. "Hey grab my hands and I will help you out." I said to a man and women. They nod and I run them out. I go back in and see a child. I walk towards him. He looks at me and back up. "Hey, sweetie I am here to help ok? Come here and I will get you to your family." The child looks around the age of 5. He looks at me and runs in my arms. I pick him up and he it was like he didn't even weigh anything. I ran us out after a few seconds I sat him down and went back in I went to the stairs and saw a teenager and a little kid again.

I run over. "Hey, come with me, I can get you out of here." The teen girl looks at me scared. "Come on the roof is about to fall give me the child and then grab my hand." She nods and hands me the 2 year old she wraps her tiny arms and legs around me and then I grab the girls hand. We run out just in time the roof collapses. Once we were 10 feet away from the fire I let go of the girls hand and I get the little child off me. I give her, her child I look around and don't see Flash. I start to panic it is a huge fire.

I put my hand to my comms. "Flash! Flash are you alright?" No answer. "Flash come in Flash!" I was breathing heavy and coughing a little. Reflex what is it? Where is Flash? Caitlyn said worried. "I-I don't know he won't answer his comms. Are his vitals ok?" They are a little low but so are your so it's from the smoke. "Ok thanks." I walk toward the fire when someone yells from the huge crowd "If you go in there you will get hurt!!" It was a males voice I roll my eyes. "That's a hero's job." I answer back yelling

I walk in and look around with my jacket over my mouth. I see Barry laying on the ground with a big piece of the roof on him. No one is around him. I check his pulse and find one. I sigh. "HELLO IS ANYONE STILL IN HERE!!!!" I yell out. I hear shuffling to my right so I look and see a teenage boy. He runs to me. "Please my friend is stuck help me!!" "Ok sir calm down I will get him out first help me move this and I will help your friend. He nods and we push the roof piece off I get Barry in a safer place where there isn't as much fire and I tell the man to stay with him. I go over to his friend I try to push the concrete off him.

It doesn't budge. I pray in my head. Please, please let me be strong enough to save him please. I wipe the sweat off me. I push again and it felt like it was light. I checked his pulse there was non. I pull him out of the fire and outside. I leave him and run back I pick up Barry and the man follows me once we are safe I set Barry next to the guys friend and start to do CPR. "1, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3, 4." Still nothing.

I do mouth to mouth. I take a deep breath. Everyone watches. "Please help him." The dude sobs. I look at him doing CPR. "Sir, give me time I only did this once on him calm down sir." He man nods and I do mouth to mouth. I then do CPR. He gasps and I fall back on my back breathing heavily. Barry woke up sometime in the middle of saving the mans life. Barry comes to me and helps me up I was a little dizzy.

"Hey you alright?" Barry asks. I give him a thumbs up. The mans friend came to me. "Thank you so much for saving my life." I smile at him. "No problem bud, now I am in need of lots of sleep. Goodbye." "Bye." Barry picks me up. "Ok everyone is safe we are going back to sleep see you in a few hours guys." I said in my coms. Ok bye. Cisco said I hear a yawn from the other side and I giggle.

We make it to Barry's house and I get in the shower washing away the smell of smoke. I get in some silky pink pj's that was like the other set I was wearing earlier. I Fall in bed and cover myself up and in seconds I am passed out.
