TIMINI'S POV
Finally, she was asleep. I could hear her snoring from the floor near the bed.
Breathing a sigh of relief, I stood up from the bed and used a duvet to cover her small body. She had fallen asleep after hours of yelling and arguments.
It was 4am now and I didn't sleep a wink. I spent the whole night listening to her complaints about Mrs Yetunde and trust me it wasn't a pleasant situation. At least she was asleep, for that I was grateful for.
Laying on my back, I stared up at the ceiling, breathing in and out deeply. We had come to an agreement and decided it was best if we parted ways. Well it was more of my suggestion.
After a series of apologies and crying on her part, she finally gave in and said she was going to pack her bags and leave the next thing tomorrow morning.
I felt like shit for making her cry and getting myself involved in this mess but there was nothing else I could do at the moment. I couldn't take any more drama and she deserved a better person than me.
Staring into space for what felt like hours, I drifted off to sleep.
DEBBIE'S POV
After hours of sleeping, I woke up curled under the covers. The air was chilly and I let out a shiver. My mum must have come in to turn the AC on when I was asleep.
I groaned when I remembered that I forgot to wash the plates she asked me to. I was going to get into trouble tomorrow morning for not doing it but I wasn't even in the mood to stress over that right now.
My hands searched under the duvet for my phone. Feeling it, i grabbed it and turned it on. It read 1:42am and I gasped. I slept throughout the day, for more than 10 hours straight. I guess I was that tired after all.
My thoughts got interrupted by the buzzing sound from my laptop on the side table beside my bed. I thought I shut it down before sleeping. Strange
Hauling myself to a sitting position, i picked it up and placed it on my lap, squeezing my eyes together to get rid of the sleep. Displayed on the screen were series of Marvel superheroes and I shook my head, an amused look contorted on my face.
No matter how many times I warned my younger brother Melvin not to use my laptop he still did. He was already back from school while I was still asleep and thought it was the best time to use my laptop without me knowing. I smiled and proceeded to turn it off when my eyes met the tab with Timini Peters.
I felt a sudden rush of adrenaline and my heart felt like it was on fire. Oh God not again. The sad feeling I had before falling asleep came back flooding in and I felt sick to my stomach. His perfect girlfriend standing right next to him and he wrapped an arm around her slim waist.
Rolling my eyes, I exited the page and turned off my laptop flinging it on the spot beside my bed. I wasn't going to think about him again. I turned off the Air Conditioner with the AC remote and snuggled back into my duvet, trying my hardest to get him off my mind. Few minutes later and succeeding a bit, I dozed off.
TIMINI'S POV
I walked into my office with a cup of black coffee in my hand and bags under my eyes. I had woken up not earlier than 6am with the sound of Eva packing and I pretended to be asleep and waited for her to leave before I stood up to freshen up for work. My head was throbbing right now and my eyes were heavy.
There was an abrupt knock on my door and a head peeked in. 'Good morning Mr Peters. How was your night?' i heard my personal secretary Lydia ask. I nodded my head back at her and placed the coffee cup on the table, taking off my suit.
