TIMINI'S POV
He did what?!' I yelled, my fingers digging into my phone. I could feel rage building up in me when I asked again 'What did you say he did?'
Sharon sighed and her voice sounded cautious like she was afraid i was going to rain all my anger and frustration on her.
'I said that um.. She said that Mr Odeh, your security man made her a bit uncomfortable when she came over today.''You said his eyes kept raking her body and it made her VERY uncomfortable. You didn't say 'a bit' when you told me that.
'Okay okay!' She exclaimed. 'But when your voice sounds like you are seconds away from jumping someone, i get scared na.'
I tried to calm myself down by taking in deep breaths. Seconds after, I said slowly. 'I am sorry. I didn't mean to yell like that i just..' Exhaling gently, i rested the back of my head on the head of the chair. 'I didn't expect it and the thought of him looking at her like that is really making me hard to keep my cool Sharon.'
I thought about how innocently alluring Deborah looked and i knew any man with brains would want her and devour her with their hungry eyes just like i almost did..
It was bloody difficult to only keep my attention on her face and not to move lower, still, I felt bad for making her uncomfortable even the tiniest bit.The thought of any man coming too close or trying to touch her made me grind my teeth in irritation..
You did the same thing.
'I know and what if i told you he has also looked at me that way?' My sister said almost reluctantly and my eyebrows shot up to my forehead, my fists squeezing together.
'WHY ARE YOU JUST TELLING ME NOW?' I tried to lower down my voice but i was failing profusely.
'Because i knew you were going to react the same way you are right now.' She countered and i could feel my frustration at it's peak.
'When has this been happening?' I asked as calm as I could.
'The last holiday i had, that i spent a.. at your place and also on christmas day but.. he doesn't touch me or anything. I just don't like the way he looks at me most times and that's it.
Feeling deeply irritated, i let out a deep breath and nodded.
'When i get home today, i would demand he explains why he looks at you instead of doing his job and after that i am telling him to quit his job if he doesn't want the police involved. I don't care if he only looked at you girls in that way, he was employed to be guarding my house and not preying on young girls like you. And i am going to make sure he pays for it in one way. OK?'
She muttered a yes and i nodded, still with a frown on my face. 'And next time something like this happens again, make sure you tell me immediately. Am i clear?'
'Yes i promise.' She said again sighing.
'Good! What time are you coming home?' I asked in a clipped tone.
'Now. I am in the uber and i am almost home already.' She replied boredly.
'Okay. Now i want you to go in straight and if he tries to talk to you or even touch you a strand of hair on your body I will–.'
'I know i know. You don't need to tell me all of these. I am not a baby okay? and i can take care of myself. I would not talk to him and go up to my room just as you wish.' She muttered angrily and cut the call.
I sighed and flung the phone on the wooden table with a frown on my face.
I knew i was being a little too hard on my sister but nobody could blame me for being overprotective of her. There were lots of assholes walking in this world, hungry for young kids like her. I mean she was barely eighteen.
