TIMINI'S POV

Rushing down the stairs after my very impossible sister who was giggling away, i nearly tripped on my feet.

Groaning under my breath, i stopped running and slowed down my pace a bit, only because of the heavy stomps my feet was making on the tilled floor.

Debbie downstairs won't understand why the guy that was staring at her minutes ago like a wild, starved person would be running down the stairs suddenly towards her. The poor sweetheart already viewed me as a very wierd person, now she would only be convinced that i'm a psycho.

Stopping just before the stairs leading to the opening of the parlour, i heard the sound of their voices mixed together and they were already conversing about something i could very much not hear.

How did my sister get down to her so fast?!

Women! And how they become fast at doing things they set their mind to do. Sharon was never the type to be quick while walking talk less of being a fast runner and now she got down the stairs before me even with my very long legs.

Crouching a little and straining my ears to their direction of their voices, I tried to listen closely to what they were saying. I looked so ridiculous and I was making a complete fool of myself.

It was all my dear sisters' fault.

'R.–Really?." She stammered.

My eyebrows dipped into a frown. Really what? Why was she asking really? Fuck, i was loosing my mind. Was Sharon asking for her number already? did she say yes?' Placing my hands on my waist, I hit my head gently on the wall in front of me. Stupid wall.

Now i really wished my sis wasn't so forward. She wasn't always like this so i just didn't know why she chose to embarrass me today.

Or maybe it was the money i gave her earlier that made her this excited and now making her misbehave.

And here I was thinking it was too small.

'i mean– yes i know.. what i meant was i —' her voice faded again. She was also sounding a bit nervous. Oh! my dear sister was so going to pay for this.

Straightening myself, I moved quickly down the stairs finally towards where they were both standing in the parlour. i couldn't take it anymore. Not knowing what they were talking about was killing me.

Slowing down my pace a bit when both of their eyes fell on me, hers widened a bit and I watched her look back at Sharon with a pleading expression on her face.

I frowned a little. Was I making her scared? Yes, I acted a little weird earlier but that was not enough reason for her to be scared of me. Gritting my teeth together, I felt a pang of hurt in my chest.

I struggled to tear my gaze from her beautiful but very nervous face and turned to look at a smirking Sharon, wiggling her eyebrows at me. I tried my famous glare that had worked perfectly for most of my employees on her but her smirk only turned into a full grin.

My traitorous eyes moved back to Deborah and i saw she had her eyes to the ground. Why wasn't she looking at me? Oh Lord, what have I done?

Clearing my throat, 'I'm hoping everything is perfectly fine? i heard some err– noises so i—' clearing my throat again, 'i came to check.' i finished saying and tucked my squeezed fists in my pocket. Shit! there wasn't any noise from them. Why of all times do I now have to suck at lying?

Deborah was about to open her mouth to reply when Sharon answered.
'Noise? what noise were you talking about brother? we were only talking before you came and that was all. What else could you be talking about?' She asked, blinking innocently.
