Timini's POV
'You did what?!' My sister whisper-yelled, as she stood up slowly, narrowing her eyes like the little witch she is practically turning out to be.
'No no, tell me right now you're joking.' She said, chuckling slightly.
Groaning, I relaxed into the chair and closed my eyes. I never knew my little sister had become this dramatic. Women!
'I am obviously not in the mood to be joking right now. Yes, it happened and like I said, I was not in the right state of mind when I said that to her. Enough of your drama for tonight sweetie, let's just talk like normal people without arguing.'
She frowned a little and turned her confused gaze away from me. 'B.. But why? I don't understand. I thought you really liked her, I mean, from the way you were looking at her it was written all over your face.'
'Why? Because- because I don't know.' Sighing, 'Maybe it's because she's still young and.. I've been having some crazy thoughts about her. I can't get her out of my head, I feel like I am obsessed with her and fuck! it's not healthy. it is not Sharon, I can't ruin her.'
Massaging the side of my head, I watched Sharon walk closer to me and she shook her head, laughing.'
'You said she's still young? how old do you think she is first? because she told me she's twenty one and that's not young brother!'
straightening up slowly, I felt my heart racing in my chest. 'She is twenty one?!'
'Yes. She is and why in the name of God would you assume she's young??'
'I.. I don't know. She obviously looks her age or younger but the innocence I saw in those eyes.. i- I can't explain it. She looks so innocent and inexperienced so..' Shrugging my shoulders, 'I guessed wrong.'
Sharon shook her head with a wierd look on her face.
Was she pissed or humoured now? I couldn't figure out.
But she was fucking Twenty one years old? shit! I fucked up.
'I really thought you were smart brother Timini. I can't believe you just assumed she was so young without even asking for her age.' She said as she walked back to take her sit opposite me.
'First off, when did she tell you her age? Are you two friends? do you talk?' Clearing my throat embarrassingly, 'D- does she ask of me?'
Sharon stared for a moment and scoffed. 'No we are not friends. Yes, I have her number on WhatsApp but we haven't talked since the day we met. She is obviously a good person, very beautiful and looks very innocent but you can't say you feel like she's too good for you. I know you and trust me when I say I look up to you so much. literally too.' She joked, making me shake my head in amusement.
'So, you're a good man and I trust that you'll be good for her. And you can't just let her go like that, with how you were staring at her that day, it was so obvious you were infatuated with her. It looked like I was watching a movie with the thick tension surrounding the both of you so please, don't let that woman go.'
Groaning loudly. 'I don't know Sharon. I already told her not to call me anymore without any reasonable explanation given. She probably hates me so much right now.' Slumping down my shoulders, I looked at her. 'I don't know what to do. I just want to talk to her again. I really want to.'
'Dont worry, we will work something out. okay?'
'I hope so. I really do.' I finished with a sigh and a sympathetic look from my little sister.
