Thorn I got up early and kissed Adrians cheek then got dressed and did my morning routine. I was about to summon my scythe before arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me into his lap.
"Love I need to go early before their work starts."
He buried his nose into my neck and seemed to inhale my scent.
"Promise your not leaving."
My eyes widened but gave a soft smile.
"I promise, I will never leave you not ever again."
He seemed to let out a breath before losing his grip then managed to turn me around an button up a few extra buttons I left. I smiled as he grumbled still very tired.
"How are you awake at this hour?"
I chuckled and gave him a kiss.
"I would have to wake up at this time for my assassin job."
His eyes widened before slowly looking to me. I gave a soft look before speaking again.
"Only job who would accept a woman love."
He pursed his lips before sighing then pulling me back down into the bed. Me stranding the man beneath me.
"Love I need to go."
He did a pout before pulling me closer to the man.
"But I want sex."
My face heated at those random words.

He chuckled before I gave a softer kiss then got up grabbing my scythe.
