Last night was interesting.

It started off with going to a pizza place.

He picked me up right on time. He held out a helmet for me, and I remember clearly adrenaline immediately running through my veins the moment I put the helmet on. He smiled back at me and we were off into the wind.

Then he took me to this pizza place I'd never really seen before. I don't go downtown much, but it seemed pretty normal. We ate a few slices and played a few games at the arcade on the other side of the room. We stopped at a small machine with a game of motorcycle races. He leaned on this machine and gave me a smirk.

"If you win this game, I'll take you somewhere you probably never imagined."

I gave him a chuckle and shrugged. "Sure. Why not. Just another excuse to embarrass yourself." I stepped up to start the game and got ready. He chuckled at my teasing tone and took the other handle.

After a few minutes of playing, my eyes noticed the way Nate let me win. And deep down, I knew my curiosity would take the best of me. So I let him fake his defeat and gave him a wide smile when the machine announced my victory.

Nate then looked around to make sure no one was near and put a hand on the top of the machine. His eyes never left mine. And almost immediately, a small click came from the wall beside this game. I watched Nate push the wall lightly to reveal a dim hallway.

My mouth dropped agape. My eyes widened in surprise as I looked at the hidden hallway and back at his shining eyes. The same eyes I fell into the first time I met him. He lightly took my hand and I let him hold me.

His voice was only a small whisper in my ear when he said, "Do you want to continue our adventure?" His brown eyes were eager to see my response.

I gave him a smile and nodded. "Only if you promise it's going to be the best one I'll ever have."

"I promise." And with that, we walked through the dim hallway and the door slowly closed behind us.

A mixture of fear and curiosity moved through my veins, but the only thing I truly felt was the soft touch of his hand on mine. A touch I seemed to have longed for all my life.

We stopped in front of another door much fancier than the wall. Nate took off his leather jacket to reveal a buttoned shirt and a tie. I remember chuckling at him and saying, "I didn't know you clean up well?"

He looked at me with surprise. "I always do."

"Right," I said. "You should've told me we were going somewhere fancy. I would've brought a change of clothes."

"You look beautiful just the way you are."

I tend to respond back with tease to guys that say things like this to me. But with this guy, I wasn't able to say anything but look down, and try hard to hide my blush. I cleared my throat and said, "Alright then. Show me what's behind the door."

"Okay," Nate said. And with a tender smile, he opened the door for me and I entered into a whole other world. A world stuck in the 50's era. The music, the little lights up above, the people and their clothes, everything seemed to have shifted into a black and white movie.

"Wow," was the only thing that came out of my lips. Then the feeling of his hand on my back made me turn to look into his brown eyes. He smiled back at my awe. The only thing he saw was me in between all those lights.

Having a mind of its own, my feet closed the distance between us and our lips finally met. The music above enveloped our moment that seemed as if we'd been waiting for so long. I didn't care about the people around us or anything at all. The only thing I felt and urged for was his touch and his lips on mine. I let my hand run through his hair and tiptoed to feel him closer to me. His strong arms held me close and I disappeared into his world.
