The next morning, I woke up in an empty bed. The bright light of the sun went through the window, telling me that it's already late.

My eyes widened as I got my phone to check on the time and it's already eight in the morning! What the hell!

I scrambled out of my bed and got my towel to take a shower before opening the door of my room. A wonderful aroma invaded my senses and my eyes immediately went to the kitchen where I saw Mew in a white crisp shirt with the sleeves rolled upto his elbow and partnered with a pair of black pants.

I'll just talk to him later. I have to take a shower because I'm an hour late for my class! I walked straight for the bathroom and I was about to go in when I turned the handle but a warm hand held my arm. I turned around only to see Mew looking at me like he's examining every feature of my face.

"Why are you in a hurry?"

"We'll talk later okay? I'm late Mew. You did not even wake me up!" I hissed and he laughed before shaking his head.

"You don't have to go to school early." he said like it's a normal thing.

"What do you mean?"

"Jennie called earlier and she told me that your professor informed your class that he can't meet you today so he just instructed you to pass the plate next week." he pouted and let go of my arm. "Your next class is at eleven, right?" he asked and I nodded. "Great. Eat first."

I looked intently at him to see if he's just bluffing or there's any trace of humor in him but I found none. I remember exactly how he kissed me after I pretended that I'm asleep when he groaned last night.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked and I shook my head.

"N-Nothing... I'll just wash my face." I bit my lip as I avoided his gaze before going inside the bathroom.

My heart pounded for unknown reasons and he didn't do anything yet. He just asked me to eat breakfast with him.

I controlled my thoughts and slowly breathed the air out of my lungs before I proceeded on washing my face. I got my towel and wiped the water off my face before I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I touched my lips and I still can't believe I did that last night. I never thought that I will be kissing a man in this life. I never once imagined it but it didn't feel weird at the very least. It felt... good.

"Gulf stop!" I whispered before shaking my head. I took a deep breath in before going out of the bathroom.

There, I saw Mew sitting at the dining table, waiting for me to join him. I pinched my fingers as I joined him for breakfast.

"Are you okay?" he asked and I nodded before giving him a timid smile.

He nodded before pushing the plate to me. I saw a platter of fried rice, scrambled eggs, bacon and a few pieces of Hungarian sausage. My stomach grumbled at the sight of food and I realized that we ate an early dinner last night.

"Eat up." he gently said and he looked at me with so much cautiousness in his eyes like I'm going to break anytime soon.

"Stop looking at me like I'm the most pitiful person you met." I said while taking a spoonful of the food and eating it. I looked at him and he heaved a sigh before nodding at me.

"I'm sorry. I'm just worried that you're still not feeling well because of last night." he timidly smiled at me. "Don't worry, whatever happened last night, it will just stay in this unit. I will never want you to share anything that you don't want to share. I'm also sorry for eavesdropping."

"It's not your fault." I weakly said and remembered every word that my mom said.

It stabbed me deep inside but I have to admit that I thought her words will never do me much damage but it stayed the same. Her words still have the power to crush me there and then - it's awful to think that I can't do anything about it because as much as I want her to change for my sake, she will never do that.
