Chapter 45: I'll See You In Hell

"Fuck!" I shouted as I trembled in fear. I can't stop myself from shaking but my brain is still functioning well. I just know that I have to get out of this room and stay alive!

My phone rang and it displayed Mew's name that I immediately picked up.

"Mew!"

"Babe what's happening!?" he shouted and I'm still trembling in fear as I stepped back to avoid the fire in front of me.

"Everson started a fire! Mew I don't know what to do!"

"Is he inside?"

"N-No."

"Okay babe calm down-"

"How the fuck can I calm down when there's literally a fire in front of me!"

I heard him cursed before speaking again. "Babe find anything that can extinguish the fire. A fire extinguisher! Find a fire extinguisher inside your office!"

"Is there such a thing here!?"

"Babe calm down-"

"Mew if I don't get out of here alive, I'm fucking you in your dreams!" I shouted and bit my lip before looking around the room. "Where is that fucking fire extinguisher!"

I heard Mew in the other line talking to his men and I paid not much attention to it as I searched the corners of this room for a fire extinguisher.

"Brother... are you ready to burn in hell?" I heard Everson shouting from the other side of the door and I can't help but feel angry!

I didn't talk because I tried to conserve my breath as much as possible. It's starting to produce a massive amount of smoke and I can't afford to lose consciousness here.

I walked around the entire room and finally found a red tank standing in the corner! Fuck yes!

I immediately pulled the pin and aimed at the fire before rapidly swishing it sidewards. It helped to extinguish the fire but the fucking door is also burning!

"Babe what is happening there-"

"Can you fucking shut up!?" I screamed as I heard Mew from the phone. Gosh, I never thought I can talk to him in loudspeaker while using a fire extinguisher!

"Babe I just want to know if you are still okay! I'm near your office!"

"Well hurry up Mew!"

"Brother! How are you there!" Everson screamed as I tried to extinguish the fire from the door. "Are you still breathing? Don't worry, suffocation will only take a couple of minutes then you will finally rest in peace." he hysterically laughed but I paid not much attention to it.

Oh God forgive me because I swear if I get out of this room, I'm sending my brother straight to you!

It took me a couple of seconds to finally extinguish the fire on the floor and the door. It's a good thing I didn't agree with Mew in putting a carpet all over my office or I'll be a roasted illegitimate child by now!

"Babe I'm downstairs. The elevator is not working! My men should be there by now but they took the stairs."

"Come up quick. I'm breaking the door." I seriously said as I stared at the burned wooden door. I don't know if I will succeed but I have to try.

I left my phone on the desk and sprayed some more on the floor when I saw a few active fires before finally banging the door.

I heard Everson laughing at the other side of the door and I can't believe how stupid this guy is. First of all, pouring gasoline in my office when it is clearly made of expensive marbles is just going to hold the fire but not burn the entire room. Second, the CCTV cameras are all over the building! He's studious but not that smart!
