Chapter 16: Daddy

Mew held me tighter while I try to calm my nerves. I haven't been this angry in my entire life and I feel like punching someone just because of the bottled up feelings I kept for years!

"Babe..."

"She's so unfair!" I hissed and I felt him nod while resting his chin on my shoulder, still hugging me from the back.

"I know babe, I know." he whispered and kissed my shoulders. "I'm sorry if I can't do anything about your situation."

I felt a pang in my chest as I turned to him and I saw the pure concern he has towards me. He is the only person who is constantly thinking of my well being. Mew is the only person, aside from Jennie, who chose to stay with me through ups and downs. He's been with me for almost six months now and I can safely say that we are indeed getting closer each passing day. I never felt that I'm alone anymore since he came. He became my friend first before we became lovers and I think that's how things should be. We may not have the right yet to be together, but soon- and I promise ro stay with him like how he stayed with me for the entire time I'm fighting my demons and insecurities inside me.

I don't know how long we stayed in that position but when I felt a lot better, I broke from his hug and he looked at me with such tenderness in his eyes.

"Are you okay now?" he gently asked and I nodded. "Do you still want to go island hopping today? We can still do those things tomorrow if you're not feeling okay."

I shook my head and sniffed before wiping the dry tears on my cheeks. "I'm good now. Thank you." I smiled and he happily nod his head before giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"That's good. Let's go? We'll take the speedboat with us." he happily said before reaching for my hand. I eagerly nodded and we went on our way out of his room.

Mew never let go of my hand the whole time we are walking out of the mansion. I even got shy because his parents saw us but I think they didn't mind us holding hands so I let it the idea go.

When we reached the speedboat, two men were waiting for us and we were immediately given a pair of life vest to wear. I didn't know how to wear it because as I have said, I never got the chance to take a vacation that often. My auntie would either stay at home the whole summer or when she's in the mood, she'll travel to Hong Kong or Japan to just shop and explore the city. She was never a fan of nature so I never had the chance to be in this kind of environment.

Mew pulled a strap and the vest immediately hugged my body. He patted my shoulders and pinched my cheeks before he went in the speedboat first. I did what he did and I successfully put myself inside the boat. The engine roared to life and Mew's hands instantly found its way to my waist. He pulled me close to him as we zoomed out from the shore.

I breathed in the fresh air of the sea and saw corals underneath us. Fishes swam with us and I even saw nearby tourist boats not from afar. I surveyed the nearby islands and saw the famous hotel that I captured earlier. Tourists flocked around the bay and a lot of water activities are happening there.

"You want to do those?" Mew spoke beside me and he stared at me with such curiosity in his eyes. I don't want to impose nor request anything more from him so I shook my head.

"I'm fine with anything you have for us." I simply said and he pouted in front of me. "What?" I asked while giggling at his reaction.

"If you're thinking that I'm going to spend money again then you are wrong. We can do anything here for free." he said as-a-matter-of-factly.

"Anything?"

"Yes babe... anything." he replied and his words dripped with pure malice. Damn you Suppasit! "Ouch! Babe... you keep on pinching me..."
