"What are your plans for your birthday?" Jennie asked as we sat inside a famous coffee shop.

We are both free today because our class ended early so she decided to do some shopping for her clothes. It's been a few months since the incident happened and I settled everything with my parents. They agreed that they will give everything to me and Dad even left his black card to me. I guess money is not an issue after all.

I looked at all the things I bought today. I guess it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I got to buy the everything I want and need for the past days. I decided to start with the clothes last week and I bought a total of 500,000 THB from luxury clothing lines and what's funny is that I didn't even blink an eye when I paid for them. I got almost everything that I wanted inside the Gucci store and other luxury brands.

Now, I bought a brand new MacBook Pro, a new iPhone, an iPad... I basically bought one of each of their new released gadgets.

I shook my head as I took a sip of my iced coffee. "I don't have plans as usual."

"Again?" she said, exasperated at my response. "Dude you should have one! It's your sweet sixteen!" she squealed and I laugh before rolling my eyes.

"I'm not a fan of big celebrations, you know that Jennie." I said as I leaned towards the chair. "I just want to stay home."

"And what? Sulk all day? Beshie, can you do something fun!?"

"W-What did you just call me?" I asked and she shrugged like it's nothing.

"Uh, beshie?" she said and my forehead creased.

"Who's beshie?"

"You, dumbass!"

"Me? Since when did my name was change into Beshie?"

"Stupid! Beshie stands for bestfriend or best buddy. It's a gay term so don't worry about it. It's better than to call you Gulfie, right?"

I rolled my eyes at her ridiculous ideas. She can be so creative sometimes.

"So are you really staying inside your unit?" she inquired once again and I nodded. "My gosh! Can't you be a social butterfly like your mother? Even that trait please! I want my bestfriend to at least drink with me!"

"Then drink with me inside my condo."

"That's no fun beshie!" she rolled her eyes and I laughed at her. "Can we just drink in a club?" she suggested and I firmly shook my head. "Come on! I have connections! I can make a way when there seems to be no way." she said in a sing-song tone and I almost slapped her. I'm not a Christian but that is a praise song, I heard of it!

"What the fuck! Jennie! Someone might hear you!" I hissed and she just laughed.

"Come on! Your birthday is on Saturday! It's the perfect day because on Sunday, you can sleep all you want after you get drunk!"

I shook my head. "That's risky Jennie. Besides, who will take me home if ever I get drunk?"

"I'll take you home." said a familiar voice and Sky immediately sat beside me. "You're drinking?" he asked.

Sky has been hanging around with Jennie and I lately. He's not that bad for a friend and he listens really well. He doesn't go around giving his opinion like others would do at every circumstance. He is also a gentleman I must say and when he started to hang out with us, the issue seems to be silenced by his presence. I don't know what happened but I guess it's better than to ask what happened to their judgemental tongues.

"I'm not drinking." I said with finality.

"Gulf come on! Your birthday is only once in a year! Let's celebrate life!" Jennie insisted and I shook my head. "Ugh! Sky you convince your boyfriend!"
