"You keep on telling everyone that we are a thing."

That's the first thing I said as we left the two behind and we went on our way to meet Jennie. I don't care what others may think but I don't want rumors to spread and leave Sky at a disadvantage.

"Isn't that great for you? At least your ex won't bother you." he pouted while driving before throwing me a glance. "What, you mean you're still attracted to him?"

I quickly shook my head and leaned back on my seat. "Not that I'm attracted to him but I'm just concerned about you."

"Hmm? Me? Why?"

I heaved a sigh and looked at him. "I know how big of a flirt you are and I can see your advances with guys around the club or anywhere you see someone attractive."

"Gulf that's a false accusation. I don't just jump on them and flirt. I observe first if a man is gay enough to flirt with me."

"Wow..." I said in a flat tone and he laughed while shaking his head. "It's a good thing you didn't flirt with me."

"Hmm? Why baby, are you going to fall for me? Huh?" he teasingly said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"In your dreams."

"Wet dreams."

"Ambhom!" I shouted and he laughed once again. "Can you stop saying such rude things, please!"

"Why are you calling me by my real name?" he asked, faking an offended tone and I honestly want to bash him on the dashboard.

"Because you are annoying!" I said in gritted teeth and he laughed even more. "I don't get how you are able to jump from one guy to another. You don't even want commitment."

"I'm not ready for it Gulf. I just need someone to flirt with and that's all I can give for now. I don't want to cheat in a relationship so it's better to stay this way." he shrugged and I shook my head. He is unbelievably active in his... workshops. "How about you? It's been years since your last relationship. Don't you have plans to be in one again?"

I quickly shook my head and smiled at him. "That's not in my priorities as of now Sky."

"Or maybe you are not yet over with what you had with Mew." he teasingly said and I sarcastically smirked at him.

"Mew is now part of my past. Whatever happened between us is something that I can't change anymore and all that's left to do is to let it go."

"If you say so mister architect." he laughed and I scowled at him.

"If ever I will be in a relationship again, I wouldn't choose an engineer. You are all heart breakers, no?"

"Ouch... that didn't sound right Gulf." he faked his reaction and I wanted to pull his hair for the overflowing sarcasm in him. "You know... if you don't forgive your past, you will bleed in your present. Just let it go and look forward to the things that is ahead of you."

"Easier said than done." I bitterly said and he shook his head.

"You're just fed up with the things that happened to you, that's all. Happiness is something that you choose and fight for." he threw me a glance as the car pulled into a stop because of the traffic light. "At least now you have the power to choose who you want to be with." he winked at me and I unconsciously smiled at his words.

This is Sky's effect on me. He can be playful sometimes but he is also my friend who can put a smile on my face if things get serious. Both Jennie and him are the only people who stayed with me during my darkest hours. Maybe Bright and the others may have done the same thing but I didn't give them the freedom to do so.
