TRIS POV

"For blondie, Mia Maureen Eaton."

Someone whispers "yesssss" and the nurse takes Mia from my arm.

She sets her in a clear container with a pink blanket on the bottom.

The nurse writes her name on a sticker that says It's a girl! And sticks it on the side of the container.

The nurse looks up at me, patiently waiting for the other girls name.

"And for this one, we've decided on Aspen Anne Eaton."

(A/N: Nobody voted for Aspen but I a) like that name and b) think it fits with the brown hair green eyes thing.)

She takes Aspen from my other arm and repeats the process she just did with Mia.

The nurse smiles at us.

"I'm going to go take these 2 out for a little while to do some tests and make sure that they're 100% clean." (A/N: I don't really know if this happens because I've never had a kid, which is probably good, considering I'm 13.)

We nod and she leaves with Mia and Aspen.

There's nothing but silence for a while.

The door busts open.

My brother falls through the doorway, almost faceplanting into the garbage can full of Marlene's past meals.

"Nice of you to show up." I say sarcastically.

"Sorry I was in the bathroom and then I came out and no one was in the waiting room so I went to the cafeteria, thinking that you guys were hungry so I spent like 10 minutes looking for you there and then I figured out that you might be here so I came up here and your stupid door wouldn't open so I pushed it as hard as I could and now I'm here."

"And the dumbest speech of the year goes to...." Christina laughs.

"Point is, I'm sorry."

"I forgive you."

He changes the subject.

"So did you guys pick the names?"

The door opens right as I was about to answer.

The nurse greets us and tells us that everything is going good with the girls and that I should be able to leave tomorrow.

As soon as she leaves, Caleb rushes over to the containers with the babies in them.

My mom takes several pictures of him holding the girls and making faces at them to make them laugh.

The list goes on and on.

I never knew that a grown man (Caleb) could 'awww' in such a high pitched voice.

I guess even though I'm not gonna be in school for a while, I'm still learning.
