TRIS POV
"One's almost out!" A nurse nearby screams.
It's been an hour of labor so far.
Let's just say it hasn't gone so well.
Tobias is passed out on the hospital couch, my moms hand is purple, and Marlene is throwing up in the corner while trying to video tape at the same time.
I hear crying.
I look over at the doctors.
There's a little baby in one of the doctors hands.
I snap back to reality.
The nurses are telling me to push more and I'll be done.
I do as told.
Another ear piercing cry enters the room.
I'm handed a child wrapped in a pink blanket.
Seconds later, I'm handed another.
I can tell that they're not going to be identical twins.
One baby has dark brown hair, and the other baby has blonde.
They're both very small.
They both have giant eyes.
The baby with the brown hair has green eyes, and the baby with blonde hair has blue eyes.
I look over to see that Tobias has awoken, trying to see where he is and why he is here.
Then he sees me.
He sprung up off of that couch so fast you would've never guessed that he'd just been out cold for at least a half an hour.
I scoot over on the bed, making space for him.
He sits down next to me.
"Can I hold one?"
"No."
He looks at me with a hurt expression on his face.
"Why not?!?"
"I'm kidding."
"Oh"
I hand him a baby.
I hand my mom the other one.
I see Marlene get up from the trash and walk over.
She smiles at me.
"You did it!"
"I did it."
She looks at the baby with the brown hair.
"Did you guys think of names?" She asks.
I look at Tobias.
"Oops."
"YOU GUYS DIDNT THINK OF BABY NAMES?!??! WHAT DID YOU DO DURING THESE 9 MONTHS?!?!" Marlene whisper-screams at me.
"I ate and slept a lot. Also I watched TV."
She sighs.
My mom hands her the baby and she forgets about the baby name situation immediately.
"I'm going to go get the group." Tobias says, handing the other baby to my Mom.
"Kay."
Minutes later I hear the door creak open.
In come my friends, one by one.
They carefully pass around the babies.
The babies come back around to me and they stay there.
After several rounds of pictures, everyone settles down.
"Soooooooo did you guys decide on names?" Christina asks.
"They didn't even come up with any." Marlene scoffs.
"Yeah. If you guys want to suggest any names that would be pretty kick ass."
Someone clears their throat.
Oh right, my mom is in the room.
"Sorry Mommy!!" I awkwardly laugh it off.
She laughs and rolls her eyes.
"So anyways... any suggestions?"
Suggestions start to fly out quickly.
"Avalon Irene Eaton"
"Ariella Lee Eaton or Arielle Lee Eaton"
"Mia Maureen Eaton"
"Kaylee Anne Eaton"
"Bridgette Lee Eaton"
"Aspen Anne Eaton"
"Riley Marie Eaton"
"Skylar Rose Eaton"
"Thalia Elise Eaton"
(A/N: thanks to @SelenaRoman and @pottergirl2442 for suggesting these last 2 names! I changed the middle name of the Thalia one, I hope you don't mind!)
"Have you guys been thinking of these the whole time?!?"
"We've been DYING for you to ask us for names." Christina says.
The rest of the girls nod.
"You guys are weird."
"Pick the names!!!"
I sigh.
"I guess that I can pick names..."
I whisper to Tobias the names that I liked.
He agrees with me.
"We have chosen."
"What'd you pick?!?!!?" Chris practically screams.
"Well, we chose-"
On cue, the nurse walks in.
"Congratulations! Do you guys have names for your twins?"
"Yeah! We're going to name them..."
(A/N: Yes, I did just leave you with a cliffhanger.)
