My name is Dawn Randle. I'm sixteen years old and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I live with Dad, Steve. Mom died a couple months ago. I also live with my five year old twin brothers, Johnny and Dallas.
I have a best friend named Daisy Matthews. Her dad is a famous comedian. Two-Bit Matthews. Daisy is my only real friend that I can trust. Anyway, back to the story.

Dawn
"Dawn! Dawn! Where are you! Come here!" I heard Dad yell across the room.
"Coming!" I got up from the couch in the living room and started to walk to the kitchen. I saw Dad looking down at a letter. "What's up, Dad?" I asked.
"There's a gang reunion." Dad blurted. I stared at him.
"Gang? What gang?" I asked. Dad looked up.
"Oh, yeah. When I was about your age, I hung out with six boys and we called ourselves a gang. Greasers. Well, two of my friends died when they were sixteen and seventeen. But um, we are having a gang reunion." Dad explained.
"Great! Where is it?" I asked.
"Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, now I have to call Two-Bit. Where's the phone?" Dad asked. I got the phone off the wall and held it out. "Oh, yeah, thanks. What would I do with out you."
"Not find the phone for sure." We started to laugh. "When do we leave?"
"We leave for the airport tomorrow. I'll buy the tickets."
"Okay." I left the kitchen and walked back to the living room. Dad owns a gas station, so you could say we are a little rich.
We own a house by the Grand Ol Opry. I saw Johnny and Dallas playing with their toy cars and airplanes. "Hey y'all." I said. I sat down with them.
"Hi Dawn!"
"Hey!" They said. I smiled.
"Guess what!" I yelled.
"What!?" They yelled in excitement. I started to laugh.
"Well," I grabbed the airplane and the car. "Pretend we live here." I said, making a hole in the carpet. "Now pretend we are in this car." I said, moving the car next to the hole. "So here we are, driving, now, pretend this is a real plane."
I moved the car next to the plane. "Now, we get on the plane, and it takes off." I started to lift up the plane and have it fly around. They started to giggle. "Then we land right, here. Then, we go off and meet new people!"
"We are goin' on a plane?" Dallas asked.
"Yep. We are goin' to Oklahoma." I said.
"Yeah!!" They cheered. I smiled.
"Here, I'm goin' to my room if you need me." I gave the car and plane back to them. I got up and went upstairs to my room. I opened my door and walked in. I closed my door and jumped on my bed. I grabbed my phone and and dialed Daisy's number. There was three rings.
"Hello?"
"Daisy! It's Dawn!" There was a pause.
"Hey Dawn! Did you hear about Oklahoma?"
"Yes! Oh my gosh, I am so exited." I said. She started to laugh.
"Yeah, man we are staying there for ten weeks. Can't you believe it!"
"Yeah. So happy to get away from Nashville for a while. Can you come over today?"
"Yeah! On my way!"
"Okay, bye." I hung up.
