The blip (sequel to my stupid spider-boy)

Chapter 4

(Peter's P.O.V.)

After Mr. Stark tried to send me back down to earth. I managed to hold onto the ship and climb aboard. This place is like a big maze and it took me a while to find the wizard and Mr. Stark. And his cape? I lowered myself down to Mr. Stark's level to hear him talking to a cape.

"Wow, you are seriously the most loyal piece of outerwear." He says to the cape as I get down to him.

"Yeah, speaking of loyalty..." I say as I let go of the web to stand.

"What the-" "I know what you're gonna say-" "You shouldn't be here" "I was gonna go home-" "I don't want to hear it" "But it was such a long way down and I just thought about you and the way-" "and I gotta hear it." "-and kinda got stuck to the side of the ship and this suit is ridiculously intuitive, by the way." I try to get out my story over him getting angry at me.

"You can thank your girlfriend for that, she put in a lot of work to make sure you are safe in that suit. Damn it" He said rubbing his face in frustration. "And now she's on earth, without us to protect her!"

"Cause I'm in space.." I say as I try to process what he just said.

"Yes, right where I didn't want you to be! This isn't Coney Island. This isn't a field trip. This is a one-way ticket. You hear me? Don't pretend you thought this though-"

"I did think this through-" "I know you didn't" "I did think this through!" "You couldn't have possibly thought this through. Cause if you had you wouldn't have left Ferryn alone!" He yells at me and I take a step back, turning around. I hadn't thought about that. I can't help that I'm still an impulsive teenager. I can't believe she's down there by herself.... But she isn't alone. She has the rest of the avengers and more and she's smart and powerful. I'll be back for her. I will.

"You can't be a neighborhood Spider-man if there's no neighborhood." I say as I turn back to him. He just stares at me. "Ok, that didn't really make sense, but you know what I'm trying to say. And Ferryn will be ok too, she's strong and smart. She has the rest of the Avengers and I'll get back to protect her as soon as all of this is over." He takes a shaky breath. I know he's just as worried about her as I am.

"Come on. We got a situation." He says and walks over to the ledge. "See him down there, He's in trouble. What's your plan? Go." He says, pointing down to the wizard who is surrounded by needles and the weird alien is questioning him.

"Um.. ok, ok! Did you ever see this really old movie Aliens?"

We manage to save the Wizard by blowing a hole in the ship to suck the alien out of it. After Mr. Stark closes the hole I decide to introduce myself.

"Hey, We haven't officially met yet. Cool" I tried to introduce myself to the cape but it flew away. Mr. Stark and the Wizard start to argue while they try to figure out how to fly the ship.

.."We are now in a flying doughnut, billions of miles from Earth with no backup!"

"I'm back up." I say,raising my hand.

"No, you are a stowaway.The adults are talking" Mr stark says, pointing at me. I was just trying to help

"I'm sorry, I'm confused as to the relationship here. Is this another one of your kids?" The Wizard asks. I really need to find out his name.

"No, he's my kid's boyfriend." Mr Stark says, rolling his eyes.

"I'm Peter, by the way." I say offering a hand shake.

"Dr. Strange." He didn't shake my hand.

"Oh, you're using our made up names, Um. I'm Spider-man, then." He rolls his eyes and walks back over to Mr. Stark and continues to argue. I just watch and eventually Stark comes down to me.

"Hey,  kid." He taps his hand on each of my shoulders "you're an Avenger." He says and walks off. I smile, proudly. After a while, Mr. Stark and I sit down and I watch out the large window as the stars go by. "She tried to follow us you know." Mr. Stark says and it catches my attention. "She called in that suit for you and couldn't get any higher. She told me to tell you that she loves you." He says, looking out at the stars. This just makes me even more sad that I'm not with her. I have no way to make sure she is ok. I have to make it back to her. We will destroy these stone things and defeat Thanos and I will be with her again.

A/N: I'm just now realizing how inconsistent my chapter lengths are. oops.
