The blip (sequel to my stupid spider-boy)

Chapter 20

(Ferryn's P.O.V.)

When the blast hits I fly trying to avoid the rubble as it falls. I get hit by a large piece of wall and hit the ground. More of the building falls around me and I can't hear anyone else any more. Once the building has seemed to stop collapsing I carefully levitate the big piece of wall off of me. I stand up and look around and I can't see anyone. I hover above the ground and slowly fly around the rubble of the building, trying not to cause anything else to fall. After a while I make it up above the fallen building. I hover just over the building to see what had made all of this happen. Thanos. I dropped down so he wouldn't see me. I watch for a second. He's just sitting there. He must have come from the past. I'm not sure how but with time travel, things happen. I watch the clouds suddenly gather together and become dark. And then lightning strikes and the thunder scares me half to death. I look back around my hiding spot to see Dad, Thor, and Steve circling Thanos. They look like they are talking to him. I stay hidden and try and listen to what they are saying. From what I can hear Thanos know what his future self did and his new plan is just to kill us all and start over. When I see Thor start to attack I know it's time for me to get down there and help. I make a power blast at him and he falls back a little.

"No Ferryn. Help the others get out!" Dad yelled as he fought.

"I want to help!" I yell back and hit Thanos with another blast.

"Then help the others who are stuck under the building!" I send one last blast and fly back to the building. I just want to help. I hear people talking and I go towards it. I see Clint sitting on the floor watching Nebula talk to a green lady. And then I see that there are two Nebulas. I quietly fly close to Clint.

"There are two of her?" I ask quietly, making him jump. He hushes me and starts to stand back up. I don't understand what they are talking about because I walked into a conversation that was almost over but it made Nebula shoot the other Nebula. Clint quickly grabs the glove with the stones and we get moving through the tunnels of wreckage.  I lead us back out to the top of the building and see Steve fighting Thanos. With Thor's hammer! I knew that he was worthy. He takes a big hit from Thanos. I start to fly to him but Clint stops me.

"Wait." He says and l look down to see him start to get up. Thanos needs to stop talking. He just stands around talking instead of fighting. A beam comes from the sky and suddenly Thanos has an army. My eyes widen and Clint and I look at eachother. I reach out my hand to him and he looks at it hesitantly.

"Come on we need to get down there." He grabs my hand and grips the glove tighter. I fly us down to the ground. Once we get there orange portals start appearing. I swear my jaw is on the floor as I start to see the people who walk though. We did do it! Everyone is back! And now we have an army too! I look to Steve and see him summon Thor's hammer.

"Avengers assemble."

I don't have time to look around before Thanos and his army start to come at us. I fly up above everyone and start to send blasts at the crazy looking aliens. I keep fighting but try to keep an eye out for people that I haven't seen in literally five years. There are things flying above me and below and it's overwhelming but I fight through. Suddenly Danvers came out of nowhere. YES! We need her. She's like the best. I see her start to fly though the sea of aliens with Wanda and others helping her make it through the crowd. I fly up and help her.

"It's good to have you back Wanda." I say when I get up to her. She smiles lightly and continues fighting the giant flying metal things. We fight our way further into the battle and make it past everyone to where Thanos is. We were still far away but we could see him. He has the glove and Carol is nowhere to be seen. Not again. No. not again. He snaps.... And nothing. Last time there was a big light or something. But this time nothing happened. He was confused too. He looked at his hand and then I saw dad. He had the stones. Pepper stood beside me and grabbed my hand. We watched as dad held up his hand. He can't handle the power. He won't make it. He snapped. This time I saw the light. It flashed and I knew it worked. I looked around and saw that all of Thanos' army started to disappear into dust. We won. This time we won! I heard Pepper let out a sob and I turned back to see her towards where dad was. Pepper and I quickly flew towards him. I immediately started to cry as I landed. Peter was sitting in front of dad crying just as hard as Pepper and I were. I bent down on my knees and put my hands on Peter's shoulder. He looked back at me and started crying more. I couldn't do this with him now. I turned to look at my dad and felt tears start to fall down my face.

"Hey, Dad." I say and Pepper sits next to me and places her hand on Dad's chest and holds my hand with the other.

"Hi." He says, very quietly it barely makes it out. Dad lifts, shakily his hand to cover Peppers.

"Friday?" Pepper asks.

"Life functions critical." Friday responds and it only makes my cry harder. I can't even get any words out anymore.

"Tony." Pepper says quietly and Dad starts to shake his head. "Look at me."  He turns his head back to her. "We are going to be ok." I nodded and put my hand over his.

"I love you Dad. we're all gonna be ok." I say and sniffle. I feel someone put their hand on my shoulder. I look up to see Peter, his face just as tear stained as mine. I look back at Dad and Pepper.

"You can rest now." Pepper whispers to him as tears fall down her face. I could feel Dad's hand go limp and fall from between Pepper and I's. His eyes go blank. I can feel the pain from all the emotion welling up inside. Pepper lets go of my hand, sits it on his  cheek and kisses the other one. I turn to Peter and basically fall into his arms. My crying only gets harder and everything hurts worse. The only thing keeping everything around me from shaking is the suit that is now glowing. 

"Hey, it's ok. We are gonna get through this. Together." Peter whispers and hugs me tighter. He starts to brush his fingers through my hair. "You're going to be ok, I've got you." He whispers several times and I start to feel better instantly. I hadn't had him to help me in so long. I swear it only took a few minutes to feel almost normal. I pull away slightly so I can look at him.

"You're back." I cried, this time out of happiness. "I can't believe it." I whisper and wrap my arms around his neck and adjust to give him a real hug. I look over his shoulder and see Steve and Rhodey crying too. I sniffle again and bury my head back in Peter's shoulder.
