Katherine Holt has finally escaped her past of family trauma and abuse to start her new life in the business sector of New York.
After scourging for jobs, barley making ends meet, she finally lands one as a receptionist at RAV Enterprise. She believes that this will be a new start to be able to move past her darkness and truly be happy. But when it storms, you have to deal with the rain.
Harry Styles, the next in line to take over his father's business at RAV after his passing in 2019. After years of pleasing him, he is destined to continue where he left off, in the same fashion his father did. And he will do whatever it takes to insure his rightful place, no matter who or what gets in his way.
Both Katherine and Harry have dark pasts, and even darker secrets. Will they ever be able to outrun them, or will they chase them down till the end.

HEY EVERYONE.
So... long story short i started to write this was i was like 14(?) and i'm now 22 and after getting back into reading fanfics i decided to start it back up again.
I was 14 and i tried reading my awful attempt at writing and decided to start from scratch, except with the title and premise of the story. It probably won't be any better but hey i'm trying.
(Feb 26, 2023 note: I will admit. My writing isn't great in the beginning, you have to get through the bad grammer and stuff that doesn't make sense before it starts to make sense.)

(Jan 2024: i'm currently editing this a bit so chapters might come out one after the other rn but that might change when i get to where i left off)
- FOR STARTERS -
Everything in this is 100% fiction. I don't own any names of the character nor how the character react reflect the actual people blah blah blah we've heard this all before in many a fics. This is not all butterflies and rainbows. This is probably going to be borderline dark Harry. Basically saying, Harry is gonna be an asshole for a bit. So if that is not your thing that's okay. Also kind of a side note because of everything with ovid, SO with that being said, ovid does not exists in this world. We're based in 2020 which is when ovid "started" but again ovid is NOT in our world. :)
