Noah's pov

Y/n kept coughing water and I pat her back so it would all come out.

"I feel so numb." Y/n says.
"You guys got high again?" Gaten asks.
"Yeah, I think we overdid it." I say.
"No shit!" Gaten yells.
"Calm down." I sigh.
"What if I did not come at the right time, she would have drowned because you are too high to notice!" He yells.
"Stop yelling." Y/n yawns.

I layed Y/n down and she fell asleep immediately,

"Come on we should go." Gaten says grabbing his things.
I wrapped Y/n around my towel then carry her to the car,
I sit with her in the backseat so she doesn't fall over.

During the ride the road was bumpy and she rested her cheek on my shoulder.
I miss her, but I cant touch her. I would genuinely feel bad for even giving her a tiny side hug.

I never want to hurt her again, I just want her to be happy, even if it's with Finn.

"Maybe we should tell Finn what happened." Gaten says
"Why?" I ask.
"He cares about her." Gaten says.
"Your right I guess." I say.

Then I kept thinking about what happened, I heard a splash but I wasn't thinking, my head was somewhere else.

We get the the parking lot and Y/n woke up,

"Hey, how are you feeling?" I ask.
"Wild." She laughs.

Shes still high, I am too though.

"Come on, let's get you both to bed." Gaten sighs.

We walk to the dorm and we flop down onto the couches and fall asleep.

Gatens pov

What a crazy night, Y/n could have drowned if I was not there at the right moment. Never leave two high people together alone over a lake.

I take out my phone, its 10:30pm.
I hope Finn is still awake.

*phone call*

"Hello?" Finn answers.
"Hey." I say.
"Gaten, is something wrong?" He asks.
"I know it's late, I hope I didnt wake you up " I say.
"Its okay, I was up." He sighs.
"I just want to tell you something." I say.
"What's it about?" He asks.
"Y/n." I say.

He sighed and asked,
"What about her?"
"Y/n needed a place to stay tonight and so did Noah and I because Sadie and Caleb kicked us out for a night, so Sadie let us all stay her dorm, then she came with Noah and I to the lake, then I left them alone-"
"Did Noah do something to her?" Finn cuts me off.
"No." I say.
"Continue then." He says.
"They got really high, and she fell into the lake, if I didnt come back at the right time she would have drowned." I say.
"Noah didnt try to save her!" Finn says.

He seemed mad.
"He was too high." I say.
"What the fuck, I dont like her being around him." He sighs.
"I'm coming to get her." He says.
"What, but shes asleep." I say.
"Wake her up, I'll be there soon." He says.

*end of call*

"Wait Finn-" I sigh.

He hung up.

"Shit!" I sigh.

I go back to the living room and sigh again, why did Finn get so mad it was an accident. Wait I know he likes her, from the party he didnt deny that he didnt. But that was some time ago, does he still have feelings for her. Or maybe he never liked her, he just didnt want to argue with Noah that night.

"Y/n." I say shaking her.
"W-what." She sighs.
"Finns coming to get you." I whisper.
"What why?" She asks.

She sat up,
"I dont know, I told him what happened he seemed upset." I say.
"Shit." She sighs.
