I couldn’t believe I had told Niall I would see him. I couldn’t believe I was going to hang out with him. I wasn’t feeling better but I was definitely feeling better than this morning. I thought that maybe with this distraction it’d all go away.

Maybe I was wrong about the pregnancy. Maybe it was my grandma’s cookies or something that gave me this upset stomach or the flu.

I went downstairs and told grandma I was going to hang out with Niall. Since he was on her list of good people, she just told me to be careful and to not get home late. I smiled and left. I was feeling nauseous right when I closed the door. I closed my eyes and took in a breath. I had to control this if I was going to hang out with Niall.

The trip there was sooner than I thought. The hotel was very fancy. I really felt like I did not belong here. The security guards looked at me weird. Right when I was turning to head towards the exit. Someone grabbed my arm.

NIALLS POV

I noticed Juliet and grabbed her by the arm.

 “Where are you going?”

“I thought I was in the wrong hotel.” She half smiled. She looked very pale. Like if she hadn’t eaten for days.

“Are you hungry?”

“No, I’m okay. I see those fans are out there still.”

“Yeah. Was it hard for you to get in?”

“Not really because I wasn’t acting like them.”

“Come on, let’s head to my room.”

I looked around and saw a couple of paps trying to snoop in some shots. I knew what was coming with Juliet being here and I had hoped that if she were to see it, she wouldn’t mind.

“Do those girls always hang out there?”

“It varies. We see different faces all the time. It’s crazy how they’re willing to stand outside to just get a glimpse of us.”

“Isn’t that kinda like stalking?”

I laughed and said, “Erm no, well I don’t think so.” She finally gave me a full smile. We headed to my room so she can drop off her bag.

“Wow this is really nice. Living the life huh?”

“I guess.” I shrugged. I noticed she put her hand over her mouth. “Are you okay?” I asked. She took in a breath and said, “Yes, I just have the stomach flu, which is why I haven’t been feeling good lately.”

“Sorry, I shouldn’t have asked for you to come then. If you want, I can take you home.”

“No, no. I’m here already and besides probably being there will not do any better.”

“Okay,” I said and we headed towards the pool. The guys were there as well. I didn’t mind them much since I was with Juliet but they did greet her. They even began teasing me a bit.

We sat away from them because I knew they would continue the teasing.

“It’s such a good day today.” I said looking up. Juliet’s stare was on the water. It seemed like if she was here but her mind wasn’t. Then suddenly she got up quickly and walked away.
