3. Lockdown

Alex's POV
I'm currently studying Spanish with Charlie and Tony in the library.
All of a sudden, Prinicipal Bolan speaks on the announcer.

"May I have your attention please, we are currently moving into a lockdown situation, code red this is a hard lockdown" Prinicipal Bolan said.
Me , Charlie and Tony move to the computer room which is a small room connected to the library and we hide under the tables in there.
We can't find Tyler and we're worried.
"Tyler's been buying guns" Tony said.
Tony goes to talk to a member of staff about Tyler missing and the fact that he's bought guns.
Charlie looks at me , I start to freak out.
"Hey are you ok" Charlie asks.
"I did this , everyone's gonna die and it's all my fault" Alex says.
"No" Charlie said.
"Stop, I fuck up everything" Alex said while beginning to have a panic attack.
"Alex, hey listen to me, squeeze my hands, ok you can do that, come on i know you can" Charlie said.
Alex squeezes Charlie's hands.
"Come on Alex focus on me , just breathe" Charlie said.
Alex calms down.
"My dad , he's out in the hallway , look I hear him" Alex says as he gets up.
"Stay down" Charlie says.
"No that's my dad, he's right out there, can't you hear him" Alex said.
Alex walks out the computer room towards the doors of the library leading to the hallway.
"He's calling my name , he's right out there" Alex says worried.
"Shit, Alex it's the TBI, ok your not hearing your dad , it's your brain making you think you are, he's not there, ok it's your mind, trust me" Charlie replies.
"Come on lets go" Charlie says.
Alex and Charlie go back into the computer room.
Suddenly the announcer turns on, Principal Bolan speaks.
"The lockdown is over, it was a drill" he says.
Everyone is relieved. Especially us.
Thank god Tyler didn't try to shoot up the school again.
Thank god we're all safe.
