CHAPTER TWO

Nana's POV

Yeah. We used to be close before.

We entered this school together. He was so nice and always happy. He was always caring for me. But after a few months, with his talent, he became instantly popular.

Yes. We are studying in an arts school. There are lots of talented students in our school but he was one of the few who stood out.

He's got the looks, the voice, the moves, the captivating eyes, and the jaw dropping smile. And yes, I'm talking about Byun Baekhyun.

We were still close despite of his popularity but since last year he grew distant from me. I didn't remember doing anything wrong to him but a day came that he just looked at me with an emotionless gaze. He just passes by in front of me for a reason that who knows what.

Ever since his popularity, he has been smiling to everyone, to the girls who call him oppa, to other guys, to his friends, to any random stranger he meets but whenever he lays his eyes on me his smile turns into a cold look. No emotions at all. Poker face.

Do Kyungsoo or popularly known as D.O. is way better than him. Both of them are part of the six most popular guys in school who call themselves the EXO.

D.O. has been very nice to me. Unlike Baekhyun, He's been giving me captivating smiles instead of cold looks. I got to know him when we were once paired in a project last year. Since then, he always smiled at me.

Earlier this morning when the EXO entered the school an Baekhyun looked at me coldly D.O. was behind him smiling at me.

*FLASHBACK*

With more than ten minutes left, I walked to my classroom. A few seconds after I entered the school building I heard girls squealing.

Omo! Oppa, so handsome!

Oppa! Saranghae!

Oppa! Notice me!

I heard lots of other sentences with Oppa in them.

Ughh.. He's here again with his friends. I thought.

A few seconds later, Byun Baekhyun passed by in front of me with five of the most popular guys in school, Suho, D.O., Chanyeol, Kai, and Sehun. I felt his eyes looking at me. He's been very good to everyone but very cold towards me.

Behind him, I noticed D.O looking at me. I shifted my eyes from Baekhyun to D.O. and saw him smiling at me. I smiled back. I'm still a little awkward with D.O. because of what happened before but I don't want to remember it.

My peripheral vision saw that Baekhyun sighed and look straight the moment I smiled at D.O.

*PRESENT*

That expression on Baekhyun's face made me curious but I don't want to remember it. I don't want to think about.

*Kriiiiiinggg*

There goes the school bell. My mind has been flying off to somewhere that I didn't listen to a single lecture on the past three hours.

It was already lunch time. I met with my roomate Eunseo. We went to the cafeteria together. After buying lunch, we sat in our usual table.

There goes the screaming girls. That's a sign that EXO's here.

They sat in their usual table, the table across ours. And there goes Baekhyun's empty eyes looking at me again.
