Chapter Six : He's Jealous

CHAPTER SIX

Nana's POV

Gosh! I remember! He sang me this song when...

When I was crying because Kim Min Seok, one of our bestfriends, my first crush, migrated to another country because of his family's bussiness reasons.

Every afternoon I would go to our favorite hang out in the garden on the school's rooftop to cry because I  know he left me.

I never confessed to Min Seok that's why it hurt more. My unspoken feelings became heavy in my chest until...

*FLASHBACK*

It has been two weeks since Min Seok left. Every afternoon since he left, I always come here to the rooftop and sit on our favorite bench.

Memories with him would flash before my eyes. There were times when we practice our dances here, sing a duet song together and even compose new songs. Remembering him makes me cry and miss him more.

Baekhyun, on the other hand, seldom comes up here with us. I don't know why, but everytime he's here he just looks at us.

Oftentimes, when I was laughing with Min Seok I catch him smiling at me. I just pretended not to notice.

Baekhyun was missing the whole afternoon. As usual, I went up to the rooftop and cried. A few minutes later, I heard somebody playing a song.

I looked around and followed the sound. I walked past the mini garden and saw Baekhyun playing his keyboard in the center of the garden behind the fountain.

The song he played? Hope is a dream that doesn't sleeps. I listened to his angelic voice throughout the song. Somehow, hearing him sing comforted me.

When he finished singing, he stood up and walked towards me. I was tearing up but when he reached me he suddenly hugged me and whispered..

"I'm still here. I won't be going anywhere." -Baekhyun

*PRESENT*

He's still here? He won't be going anywhere? Then what is he doing? Pretending I don't exist? I thought.

Throughout the song, I just recalled all those. When I realized that I finished singing, I quickly put the microphone back and went to my seat not bothering to wait for Baekhyun.

He then shot me again with his cold look when I sat on my chair and he just got up from the piano.

D.O. started poking me. As I turned to face him I felt Baekhyun sat on his seat.

"Mwo?" -me

"You were great." -D.O

"Aah. Gomawo." -me

"But.. You looked like you were daydreaming about something. You were smiling in between singing." -D.O.

"Really? I just remembered how happy I felt when someone sang that song for me." I answered him whispering but loud enough for Baekhyun to hear.

My peripheral vision tells me that he glanced at me.

"Next up. D.O. and KyaNa." -Teacher Lee

"I'm up. This song for you." - D.O.

Okay. Now I'm feeling heat rushing up to my cheeks. Am I blushing?

Baekhyun's POV

She's really blushing huh?

She really made me hear that?

"Really? I just remembered how happy I felt when someone sang that song for me."

Whatever. I wonder what will D.O. sing for her.

This time, it was the other way around. The girl went to sit on the piano while D.O. took the microphone.

I looked at Nana. She's blushing? The Heck! Is this jealousy I'm feeling?
