Chapter Eight: His Excuses

CHAPTER EIGHT

D.O.'s POV

After class finished, I saw Nana fixing her things in her locker.

I approached her.

"Hi Nana!" I said as I flashed a cute smile

"Oh. Hey D.O!" she answered looking a little bit shocked and her tone was somewhat awkward.

"Do you have somewhere to go to?" -Me

"Uhmm, I still have to study. Why?" -Nana

"I was just wondering if you can come with me. Can you?" - me

"Uhmm.. W-well. Sure. I'd be happy to accompany you. Give me a sec to fix my things." - Nana

Aigoo. That's a yes! I was smiling so hard while witing for. She was still fixing her things when somebody tapped my shoulder.

Oh It's Baekhyun.

"Oh. Baekhyun-ah." -me

"D.O.-ssi......"- Baekhyun was interrupted when Nana finished fixing her things

"I'm done. Let's g....."- Nana. She stopped when she saw Baekhyun behind me.

"Let's go." - Nana continued but this time she looked at me straight and pretended not to see Baekhyun.

"D.O.-ssi. Let's go. They're waiting for us in the practice room." - Baekhyun said also pretending not to see Nana.

What's with the atmosphere? Is there something between them?

"Uhmm. Nana-ssi. I forgot we have a practice on weekdays. Can we move this on Saturday? If it's okay with you." - I looked at her with an apologetic smile on my face.

"Uhmm. Of course. Well see you on Saturday then." - Nana

She turned away but turned back and said.

"Bye Baekhyun." - Nana

Then she turned away again and walked quickly. I seem to have spotted a smirk on Baekhyun's face but I must have seen wrong so nevermind.

Nana's POV

When I was fixing my things in my locker D.O. approached and asked me to accompany him. I agreed because he sung me such a wonderful song.

After I finished fixing my things I looked at him and excitedly said..

"I'm done. Let's g....." I stopped when I saw Baekhyun beside him but then I continued again as if I did not see him. "Let's go."

"D.O.-ssi. Let's go. They're waiting for us in the practice room." He said as he look at D.O. also pretending not to see me.

So D.O. decided to move what we have to do on Saturday because he has practice on weekdays.

I agreed.

Then, I bid D.O. goodbye and turned away when I realized that I would be rude to Baekhyun so I turned back to look at them and greet Baekhyun goodbye turned around and walked away as fast as I could.

Wait. Did I see that wrong?

He smirked.

Confusing much? Nevermind.

Baekhyun's POV

I was eavesdropping when I heard that D.O. asked him out so I decided to think of an excuse so that I could stop them from going together.

There was no way I could make an excuse for Nana to reject his offer but I could make one that could make D.O. pull out his offer.

I ended up walking towards D.O. and I tapped his shoulder to get his attention.

"Oh. Baekhyun-ah." -D.O

"D.O.-ssi......" I said as Nana turned around and interrupted me.

"I'm done. Let's g....." -Nana said as she paused when her eyes landed on me.

"Let's go." -Nana. Did she just not see me?

With my practice excuses, I ended up stopping them from leaving but I also made it worse because they move IT on Saturday.

Going out on weekends? I thought only couples do that *Sigh*

She said goodbye to D.O. and turned around which disappointed me but she turned back and said goodbye to me then she walked away.

She looked childish but cute. I can't help it. A smirk escaped my face. I thought the both of them noticed but they didn't seem to mind so I let it go.
