Chapter three : The Reason

CHAPTER THREE

(A/N : Finally! From another person's POV :))

Baekhyun's POV

Lunch time already. We went inside the cafeteria. As usual, screaming girls welcomed us. I got used to it already.

We sat at our usual table and there's that girl again. Everytime I see her, I remember what happened before.

I bet she still doesn't know why I'm cold towards her.

I saw D.O. smile at her. She smiled back. Ughh..

I'm already over her but I'm still jealous. The reason why I'm cold towards her is because of that guy.

*FLASHBACK*

Last year, D.O. was Nana's partner in one of their projects.

I was looking for her inside the library when I saw her lips pressed against D.O.'s lips in one of the shelves in the English Literature sections. His hand was on her waist.

I walked away. My heart was stinging. I like her but I saw her kissing another. I liked her since we were kids. We were inseparable. I was always with her. Despite of my popularity, I never forgot about her. Though there were many other girls clinging onto me, I didn't entertain them because of her. But after seeing this,

I swore I'll forget her.

*PRESENT*

That's when I started to be cold towards her.

Nana's POV

Awkward... D.O. is smiling at me again. I remembered what happened before.

*FLASHBACK*

I was working on a project in English Literature with D.O. last year. We went to the library for a research.

We were scanning through the book shelves for a specific book but we couldn't find it. After a few more minutes of looking...

"I found it." I shouted happily but not too loud.

I was in a rush to finish our research because Baekhyun is picking me up so I ran towards him. I was running so fast when I was just a few steps away from him I stopped myself from running with my right foot looking like I hit the breaks of the car but I ended up sliding towards him.

He stopped my body by putting his hand on my waist but my head pushed forward with the impact and then there...

I realized I kissed him. I was shocked and embarassed that I couldn't move for a few seconds but when I got back to my senses I apologized to him over and over.

That's why I feel so awkward because it was my fault.

*PRESENT*

After smiling back at D.O., he went back to talking to his friends then I went back to looking at Baekhyun.

He wasn't looking at me anymore. After recalling what happened to me and D.O. last year, I remebered that he was supposed to pick me up that day but he didn't.

I wonder why he didn't show up but the next day he didn't bother to explain why he didn't come and pick me up. He just started being cold to me that day.

Ughh... I just can't understand him. He didn't even apologize. So frustrating. Then I heard a voice.

"Yah! Nana!" - Eunseo shouted
