Chapter Twenty-Three : The Awkward Boys

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Eunseo's POV

I'm on my way to the practice room for my Last period. Obviously, Dance Class.

I'm gonna see them again. The Awkward Boys.

When I entered the practice room, three handsome faces welcomed me.

Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai

Sehun stayed where he is while flashing me a cold look. What the hell is wrong with him? Should I remind him that he was the one who broke up with me? Oh forget it.

Then Chanyeol approached me.

"Annyeong!" -He said in his deep voice while forcing a derpy smile.

He's so cute. I can't help but smile. I feel less awkward around him day by day.

"Annyeong!" -I still can't hide my smile seeing his derpy smile.

"Can you sit beside me later?"- Chanyeol

I was surprised at the same time flattered that a handsome guy like him asked me to sit beside him.

"Sure." -me

I just hope that while sitting I don't have to look up like I'm doing now. My neck is hurting. He's just so tall.

Kai is still dancing. I bet if he finishes the song he'll start flirting with me again.

Then Chanyeol walked over to Sehun's direction and used his hand to ask me to come over.

Chanyeol was sitting beside Sehun. I sat at Chanyeol's right while Sehun is at his left. The moment I sat, Sehun stood up.

So not a surprise. He's avoiding me. But it became a really big surprise because he transferred beside me.

Now I'm stuck sitting in between Chanyeol and Sehun. Sehun at my right and Chanyeol at my left.

I wasn't comfortable. I moved a little closer to Chanyeol but Sehun moved closer to me. Now, I'm really sandwiched in between them.

I put my arms around Chanyeol's arms and started pulling it. He looked at me and I gave me him a Help-me look. I guess he didn't get the message because he just smiled at me.

I guess he liked the thought of my arms wrapped around his arms.

Then I felt a head on my right shoulder. Sehun.

"Don't move. I'm sleepy." -Sehun

"What the hell?" -Kai. "That's not fair."

I guess Kai has finished dancing. He ran towards me and put his head on my lap.

"Yeoboya~~ I'll sleep here okay?" -Kai.

I felt Chanyeol put his head on my left shoulder.

"Wait. The three of you get off me now." -me

"Wae?" -The three of the in chorus

"Our classmates might see us. I don't want to be in rumor mill you know. " -me

"Yeah. That's why you hid the fact that your Suho's sister." -Kai

"Right. That's also the reason why I broke up with you when I became popular because I know you hate attention. " -Sehun

"What?"- Chanyeol and Kai together.

"You had a past relationship?" -Chanyeol.

"Yea. Yea. She was the cassanova's only serious relationship. Big deal." -Sehun

The two boys' jaw dropped.

"Wait. You broke up with me for a different reason." -me

"I lied. I know you better than anyone else." -Sehun

After what he said, memories flashed in my head.

He was a good boyfriend. There was a time when my slippers broke when we were on a date in the park so he piggybacked me the whole time since food stalls are the only stores there and there's no place to buy new slippers.

"We seldom go to dates because of my popularity. I'll carry you around so you don't have to go home early." -Sehun

Even after we broke up there was a time when a girl saw Kai flirting with me. That girl with her friends bullied me by physically hurting me but he saved me.

"Don't you dare touch this girl again or else you will recieve good beating from me. And even though you're girls I won't go easy on you." -Sehun.

All the good times flashed in my mind. My heart stung on the thought that he put me first. He knows how much I despised attention that's why he broke up with me.

"What are you thinking?" -Kai

"Nothing." -me. I looked at Sehun.

"That was also the reason why I hid the fact that I was courting you." -Chanyeol mumbled.

"You did what?" -Sehun and Kai in chorus.

"Yea. I courted her but it doesn't matter. She rejected me anyway." -The derp looked down on the last sentence.

I patted his shoulder.

"I didn't reject you because I dislike you. I rejected you because you know. I hate attention." -me

Lies. Lies. Lies. I rejected him because I like D.O.

"Well atleast." Kai looked at me "I'm your first kiss."

"Yah! I didn't want that! You stole that kiss." -me

"Mwo?" -Chanyeol and Sehun again in chorus

"Oh c'mom I know you liked it." -Kai

"Dream on you airhead." -me

"You didn't just steal a kiss from her." -Sehun balled his fist and was about to attack Kai when I stopped him.

Chanyeol, Sehun, and Kai looked really angry with each other. Luckily our classmates started to arrive.

A few minutes later the bell rang.

The three of them went on different directions but Chanyeol pulled me with him.

Since I told Chanyeol earlier that I would sit with him I didn't react.

The three of them were looking at each other like they want to rip each other’s head off with their bare hands.

Scary! Tension is rising.

The teacher Han, our dance mentor arrived with a new task. Rumba, love dance.
