Chapter 6

Merry Christmas Readers!!!

Micah's POV

Months and months and yes! Week before Christmas na! Si Darren at Twittle matagal ng together. Masakit oo kasi may nararamdaman ako para kay Darren kaso mabait naman ako kaya magpaparaya muna ako.

Sir Lyndon allowed me to go to my family for three days then I had to come back after which is on the day before Christmas.

I was going to leave today...I'm feeling half happy and half sad.

Happy because I was going to finally see my family.....sad because I won't be able to see Darren for three days. Drama ko noh! Well...isang araw pa nga lang na hindi ko siya makita di ko na kaya tatlong araw pa kaya.

I started packing my things....suddenly someone knocked on the door. I looked and saw Darren.

"May I help you?" He asked.

I nodded then smiled.

He came in and helped me pack all my stuff. It wasn't silent because he kept cracking up jokes and telling me stuff.

Dang I'm gonna miss him a lot! It isn't everyday you meet a boy like this and I'm happy to have met him even though he broke my heart.

After packing, sir Lyndon gave me my salary and Christmas bonus. A total of P45,000!!

Sir Lyndon got his driver and told him to drive me to my house. I suddenly saw Darren go to his dad then I heared their conversation.

"Daddy pwede ba ako sumama sa car ride? Car ride lang! Sulitin ko na! Mamimiss ko siya eh tatlong araw ba naman hindi ko makikita" Darren asked permission.

"Sige pero wag ka gagala ha" His dad said.

I just felt the butterflies already! He will miss me! I didn't know how much I meant to him. Although, I'm sure I was gonna miss him way more than he was gonna miss me. 100% sure! May Twittle naman siya eh :'(

During the car ride, Darren told me a lot of stories in his life. His mom and little sister were in Canada pala. He also made me laugh as usual. We just did that crazy bonding while talking.

Soon, we arrived. We said our goodbyes and right before I went out of the car, I felt a hand grab my arm and kissed me on the cheek. Oh shiz! I felt my cheeks blushing!

"O Micah namumula ka ata" Darren said almost laughing.

"Ha?! Hindi ah rosy cheeks lang talaga ako" Tsss galing ko gumawa ng kwento noh. Hahaha XD

He helped me bring my things inside my house. He was actually shocked that my house was so small! He said his last goodbye then I watched as the driver drove the car away. I just stard at it like an idiot kahit malayo na ang narating.

"Huy! Ayieeee! Si ate may crush kay Kuya Pogi!" My little brother Renz teased.

"Hay nako pumasok ka nga sa loob!" I said going inside the house with my little brother.

I went to my mom and gave all my salary and Christmas bonus. She cried tears of joy and hugged me really tight.

"Ang swerte ko talaga sayo anak!" She exclaimed.

"Ma ano ka ba wala yun! At tsaka pwede ba ma wag ka na umiyak haha magpapasko na nagdadrama tayo dito" I said lightening up her mood.

SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY.....

After breakfast, I opened up my phone to read a text message:

Magandang Umaga! xoxo -Darren

Magandang Umaga! XOXO -Micah

Wala ako kasama nakakamiss ka! -Darren

Haha I thought you had a girlfriend -Micah

She went to Korondal for a while -Darren

Ahh kk gtg have to go! -Micah

KK txt u later bye!! -Darren

Grabe! I couldn't believe he actually bothered to text! I guess I won't completely miss him.

"Anak inlove ka ba?" I suddenly heard my mom.

"Ha? Ma hindi" I said.

"Asus! It's alright with me as long as it doesn't ruin your studies." She said.

"Mom I swear! I ain't inlove" I said.

MAKALIPAS NG TATLONG ARAW....

The Espanto's driver picked me up. I saw Darren inside waiting for me. He helped me put my things at the back of the car. I said goodbye to my family then I went inside the car and we drove off.

"Micah I'm so excited! You're going to meet my mom and little sister!" He said.

"What?! I thought they were in Canada!" I said surprised.

"They came home two days ago same with Twittle she went back to Manila two days ago. I already introduced them to each other. I can't wait to introduce you!" He said.

"Great!" I pretended to be excited.

Although to tell the truth, I was nervous. What happens if she doesn't like me! Plus what if she found out the maid of her son was actually someone who's the same age as him?! Man this is hard!!!

Soon, we got to their house.

Darren helped me bring my clothes to my room. I didn't put them inside the cabinets yet. It was already dinner time actually.

Sir Lyndon invited me to have dinner with them. I got to meet Lynelle and Mam Marinel.

Mam Marinel was so beautiful. Lynelle was adorable!

Tita talked to me several times and I answered them the best I could. She seemed satisfied.

Soon, it was time to go to bed.

I went to sleep since I was tired.

1:34am I suddenly woke up. I was thirsty so I went downstairs to drink water. I drank water from the fridge. Just as I turned around, I saw Mam Marinel.

"Good evening Micah!" She greeted.

"Good evening mam" I greeted her back.

"Thirsty huh?" She asked.

I nodded respectfully.

"You know I really like you for Darren. (NOTE MY EYES WIDENED) I mean I know he liked Twittle and all but she seriously isn't that nice. She's not well mannered, answers casually as if me and her were at the same age and basically not a good influence. I want girls who are more well mannered girls like you. Darren has told me a lot about you. Even though you came from a poor family, you really know how to act well wheras Twittle acts as if she was boss even though she should be the one who acts well knowing she grew up from a rich family. I hope Darren sees that and likes you instead. Do you like him?" She said and asked.

"I honestly do mam but I'm sure he only treats me like a friend" I said.

"Don't lose hope. I know my son very well. He will surely like you" She said then left and went back to her and Sir Lyndon's room.

I went back to my room and slept.
