Lets go do something I text Kat.

Sure, come over in ten?

Aight

I grab my keys and sweatshirt before heading out the door. When I get to Kat's house her little brother sends me upstairs to her bedroom. She's sitting there staring blankly at her phone, she looks a little upset.

"Hey what's wrong?" I say sitting down next to her. She looks up at me quickly locking her phone and pulling herself together.

"Nothing" she replies avoiding eye contact.

"Hey you can tell me anything, you know." I say gently pushing her chin up so she has to look at me.

"I know," she sighs, "but seriously I'm fine."

"Okay..." I say, not quite believing her.

"I really am fine" she says putting her hand on mine.

"Alright," I say pulling her into a tight hug. "Please tell me when something is wrong though okay?" I ask kissing the top of her head softly.

"Agreed" she replies. We sit there like that in comfortable silence for awhile.

"You know," I whisper into her ear, "I've never actually been in your room before."

"Shut up!" she says laughing and pushing me over so I'm laying on her bed.

"I could get used to this" I say winking.

" I can't win with you can I?" she asks laughing as she walks out of her room.

"Kidding!" I say as I run behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. I give her a quick peck on the cheek and she sighs.

"Fine" she laughs, "I forgive you, now let's go!"

We race down the stairs and almost fall down them laughing. I open her car door and bow still laughing.

"M'lady" I say as she steps in.

"Why thank you kind sir" she replies.

I run around and hop in the car. And start it up as we both get buckled.

"So where are we going?" she asks after finally catching her breath from laughing so hard.

"To have the ultimate Christmas experience!" I reply making her laugh.

"Alright! Do you think it'll snow?" She asks suddenly excited.

"I dunno, why?" I ask a little confused.

"I've um... newuh acully theen thno" she mumbles looking out her window.

"What? I couldn't hear you, could you repeat that" I say more than a little confused now.

"I've never actually seen snow okay?!" she says sighing. I start to laugh. "It's not funny!" she says pouting. She folds her arms and leans back in her seat.

"You look cute when your all pouty like that" I say laughing at how adorable she is.

"I'm not supposed to be cute I'm supposed to be mad! c'mon!" she says exasperated.

"Okay okay!" I say giving up. "But how have you never seen snow?"

"I dunno, I lived in Arizona my whole life and the part where I lived it never rained let alone snowed! It hardly even got cold enough to snow. I moved here this year in the spring so it hasn't been cold enough yet." She says.

"Fair enough" I reply "Well if it does I am sooo teaching you everything there is to know."

"Alright," she says laughing lightly. "So where are we even going?"

"A little coffee shop" I reply as I turn into the parking lot.

"I don't drink coffee" Kat says as I open her door.

"They have hot chocolate" I laugh.

"Yes!" she says hopping out of the car as I wrap my arm around her shoulder. She smiles up at me and I kiss the tip of her nose before we walk into the store.

After we order we take it to go. We walk back to the car and I open her door again before going around to the drivers side. We drive talking and laughing for about fifteen minutes as we drive out of town.

"Close your eyes" I say as we get out of the car. I lead her through the dirt for about five minutes before letting her open them. She gasps before looking back at me.

We're near the edge of a cliff and the sun is slowly setting painting the sky a million different shades of red and yellow.

Kat wraps her arms around my neck standing up on her tiptoes before pressing her lips to mine. I wrap my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me. She pulls away after awhile smiling.

"It's beautiful." She sighs.

"Almost as beautiful as you" I reply making her blush.

"You're so cheesy" she laughs.

I put my arm around her shoulder again and I feel her arms snake around my waist hugging me loosely. We stay there sipping our drinks and talking about everything together.

**

Once it got dark I stood up holding out my hand to help Kat stand.

"Come on, there's one more thing I want to do" I say as I intertwine our fingers. I lead her back to the car and we drive until we reach the park. It's covered in Christmas lights making all of the plants glow.

We get out of the car and its cold enough to see our breath. Kat shivers and snuggles closer to me.

"Here" I say pulling off my jacket and handing it to her.

"You don't have t-" she starts.

"Just let me be a good boyfriend and put it on! I'm used to this weather don't worry" I interrupt her. She smiles and slips it over her head. It fit normally on me but on her small frame it was like a dress.

"I forget how tall you are" she says laughing and wrapping her arms around me again. I put my arm around her as we walk around looking at all the lights.

We stop under a small tree and look up at the cloudy sky. The dark gray clouds move around slowly getting closer and bigger. Slowly it starts to rain.

"Guess it's not cold enough for snow yet" I say looking down at her disappointed face. "Hey come on rain is fun too!"

"Oh I know! I love rain!" she says pulling me out into the rain. At first it's just lightly sprinkling and we run around messing with people and making vines. Soon it starts to pour.

"We should probably go" she says starting to walk towards my car.

"Wait" I say and she turns around. Her hair is soaked and so is she but she somehow still looks perfect to me. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to me. She places her arms lightly on my chest looking into my eyes.

"Why?" she asks quietly.

I lean down and press my lips to hers and she kisses back. I feel as her arms slide up my chest and around my neck. Her hand tangles in my hair pulling me closer. I stand up pulling her with me so she's on her tiptoes. I press her back making her come as close to me as physically possible. This time our kiss is different than usual, more passionate than ever before and it feels amazing. Soon were both out of breath and we pull away.

"So I could do that." I say smiling. I lace our fingers together and we walk back to my car happily.
