"Let's go!" Miranda shouted as she drew her sword from her waist while checking to see if the coast was clear. "We can't leave without Athena! Victor had her placed in the dungeons." Simon said horrified.
While Enyo conjured her own plan with the members of the Dark land kingdom. Her friends back home decided to attack their own kingdom and escape. Most of the people were in dismay after what the members of the Order did to Athena. So they decided to start a riot the mages had been causing nothing but chaos. As they channeled their powers through the animals within the kingdom.
"Get Athena, I'll meet you guys at the gate. The mages are planning to blow the entire kingdom in less than 5 minutes. So hurry up!" Miranda shouted. Before plunging her sword into the chest of a guard who was seconds away from attacking her.
"Oh dear!" Simon exclaimed as he clasped his hands over his mouth.
"Go!" Miranda yelled causing Simon to run off towards the dungeons. Before Miranda too took off down the other end of the hallway. Miranda quickly came to a sudden halt as she saw her once beautiful kingdom. That was filled with nothing but unique creatures being destroyed.
'How can creatures who were said to be so pure become so evil ? After what the members of the Order did to Enyo and Athena. Our people and kingdom will never be the same. Athena has lost and scarified so much for our kingdom and this was her reward. To be imprisoned and watched as her only child was forced into an arranged marriage with a monster.'
Miranda quickly snapped out of her trance. As she heard the first explosion which blew up the training grounds. Where Enyo first lost control of her powers. Miranda's eyes landed on an elf who was lying on the ground. With a guard above him who had his sword risen. Miranda noticed that the family of the helpless elf was also standing near by.
Without thinking Miranda quickly placed both hands on her sword and beheaded the guard. The elf's wife quickly covered the eyes of her children. As the head of the guard rolled in the opposite direction of which his lifeless body fell. Miranda sighed loudly as she roughly removed the few blood stains on her face. Before extending her arm to the man on the ground.
"Thank you." the elf said before rushing to his family's side. "Take your family and get out of here it's not safe here anymore." Miranda said as she turned her head in the direction of which another explosion was heard.
