I laid my head on Silas's board shoulders as I inhaled his intoxicating smell. I was so far off in my thoughts that I hadn't realized Antonio standing before Silas. Rambling about something I slowly lifted my head glancing at Antonio's pale expression. "She's inside the castle." I heard Antonio say before the lights in the ballroom went out. Causing an eruption of screams.

"Get the women and children to safety." Silas said as he loosened the tie around his neck. Every creature in the ballroom was either screaming. And trying to get to safety or they were preparing to fight.

Just seconds ago everyone was having fun and relaxed. Now people were being trampled as the lot of them tried escaping the ballroom. "Enyo!" my mother shouted before we started running towards each other. She was just a fingertip away when a huge blow sent me in the opposite direction.

I groaned loudly before touching the back of my head. The world around me seemed to have been set to slow motion. I watched in agony as Silas shifted into the largest wolf I've ever seen. As he barked loudly in the far corner of the room.

"Stand down brother! this is Enyo's fight." Dalinda screamed at Silas which caused him to whimper. I slowly looked to the other side of the room. At my mother screaming for me.

The windows in the ballroom immediately swung open. Giving way to the harsh wind I winced softly as a gruesome pain. Made it's way in my lower back as I tried getting up. Tears pooled my eyes before they fell. "I thought you were going to be more of a fight!" Isabelle shouted out before laughing wickedly. "Get up Enyo!" I heard my mother screamed. While Isabelle made her way towards me with a silver dagger.

I sighed heavily as I embraced the pain that raced through my body whenever I moved. I watched as Isabelle held the dagger above her head. Ready to plunged it into my chest. I quickly mounted up in the air knocking her backwards with my large wings. My head was still throbbing from the first blow. And my entire body was aching but I held it all in as I tried to put on this fearless facade.

My life is a power source to every super natural creature. I could not just die without putting up a fight I simply refused to. Isabelle quickly regained her balance. As she shot me a slight smirk I grabbed my side almost immediately. As I felt an unbearable pain. The wet metallic substance that coated my fingers made my eyes widened. It seems that the first blow as done a lot more damage. Than I had accounted for.

Without a second thought, I twirled in the air, as though I was mimicking a tornado. Destroying the roof of the ballroom. The dark sky immediately calmed my mind. As I flew with the stars and the moon. I slowly gripped my side again as another pain pierced through. I gasped loudly as a bolt of fire was aimed at my head. I looked down almost immediately. Seeing Isabelle in the distance with her arms extended in the air.

"You can not run from this!" Isabelle shouted.

'I needed a plan and I needed one fast.'
