"Jasmine, is it ?" Dalinda asked. As she stood outside the door of Isabelle's casting room which Jasmine was in. "I've been looking for you." Dalinda continued as she gracefully strode inside the room. While Jasmine watched her intensely. "I was told your good at reading a person's aura." Dalinda said before plopping herself on a table that was in the center of the room and playing with her fingers. "Care to tell me what's my aura?" Dalinda asked menacingly as she glanced at Jasmine.
Jasmine gulped loudly as she opened her mouth to speak. But got cut off as she felt a hand wrapped tightly around her neck. "Your the one who allowed Enyo to escaped! but lucky for me I found away to get her back." Dalinda said calmly. As she lifted Jasmine off the ground tightening her hold around Jasmine's neck. Jasmine's eyes watered as her vision became blur. The world around her as seemingly adapted to the new fond of darkness. As she drifted closer and closer to her death.
That was until Jasmine felt a swift wind past her causing her to fall to the ground coughing uncontrollably. Jasmine slowly placed her eyes on the sight before her. Seeing Silas with his hand wrapped perfectly around Dalinda's neck. Jasmine sighed as she traced her fingers along her neck mimicking the hold Dalinda had her in.
"Submit!" Silas barked as his canines popped out while the golden shade of his eyes glowed.
"I will never submit! You filthy disgusting creature! You should have never been born!" Dalinda screamed out. Which caused Silas to slam her further in the wall. If that was even humanly possible. But then, they weren't even humans to begin with.
"Enough!" Silas shouted as he watched his sister's once perfectly clear face turn red. He quickly released her as a thousand emotions danced in his eyes. The most evident was regret.
"Leave us be!" he shouted causing Jasmine to rush outside the room and down the halls.
"What's wrong with you?" Silas asked as he glanced at his beloved sister.
Believe it or not Silas did love his sister once. And there was a time when he was in awe at her boldness and bravery. He would watch as she ran wild with the other dragons. When she was younger he was even there when she first shifted. There was even a time when he dreamt of them being best friends.
"You're my problem!" Dalinda cried. "I hate you!" "You are the absolute worst! You think you're so powerful and strong! I was supposed to be queen it's my birthright! How dare you take that from me?!?" Dalinda cried louder. Each word held more pain than the one before it. Her eyes were swollen as tears rushed down her face.
"You walk around as if your so calm and collective! as if I'm the only one with evil piercing through my veins! You hate me just as much as I hate you! and you want me gone just as much as I want you gone. And so help me brother anyone that stands in my way of killing you will die! Your biggest regret will be saving me from those vicious wolves centuries ago because I will kill you!" Dalinda screamed as she walked to the door leaving Silas alone with his thoughts.
"I will never regret saving you, for you are the better half of me sister." Silas said after he grabbed Dalinda's arm allowing her to face him. "I will protect you until my last breath." Silas said looking directly in his sister's eyes. Dalinda remained silent as she looked at the man standing before her. It's been ages since Dalinda as seen this side of Silas.
He was completely and utterly vulnerable. A side of him which was witnessed by no one.
The love and sincerity in his eyes were as bright as day. All those years she had spent hating him. She had forced herself to believe that he too held the same hatred for her. Without saying another word Dalinda removed Silas's hand from her upper arm and left the room. Her tears came rushing back the second she was out of Silas's sight. She quickly covered her mouth as she tried muffling her cries. Before walking back to her chambers.
