Chapter 26
Next Semester Starts With a Bang
“Oh my God!” Clar said with her eyes as big as saucers
“So he tried to apologize to you again?” rats asked me equally shocked
“Nope!” I replied
I was just telling the girls about my encounter with Nish and to put it frankly, they were not very happy.
We three were going towards the cafeteria to meet the guys. Our semester exams were finally over and we were to begin a new semester from today! Our exams were really very good especially mine and I’m expecting good grades this time! It was lunch and since todays a Saturday there’s only one lecture after lunch. I hadn’t taken up I.T as an option hence I just had to wait for one submission before I could go home.
“I can’t believe it may! So much happened and you didn’t consider telling your best friends!” rats said obviously hurt
“Rats, Clar, I always wanted to tell you both but I didn’t want to disturb you guys just before our semester exams that’s it!” I said trying to calm her down
“Hey guys” Clar muttered not so cheerfully when we reached our table
“What happened sweetie pie?” Aadi asked Clar wrapping an arm around her shoulder
“She’s angry with me” I replied on her behalf
“What did you do?” Aadi asked me instantly
“What?! Why did you just assume I am the culprit here? I can victim too can’t I?” I asked
“Well…you just are!” he said
“So logical” I muttered acting irritated
“Will anyone just tell me what happened?” Afreen asked frustrated
“M doesn’t consider telling us if something important happens in her life” Clar said pouting like a child
“Oh god! Clar I just didn’t want to disturb you guys during the semester exams!”
“Whatever!” Clar muttered
“What? Don’t you care about your marks Clarice?” I said
“Well I care more about some psycho irritating my sister!” she replied
“He’s not a psycho!” I said
“Why do you always defend him?” Clar asked
“What I wasn’t defending him!” I said defending myself
“Yes you were!”
“No I wasn’t!”
“Yes you were!”
“No I wasn’t!”
“Yes you were!”
“No I wasn’t!”
