3rd Person's POV
After she uttered those words, Ellie fell to the ground, unconscious. "Guys! I need help out here!" Nat said into her com. "Where are you?" Clint asked. "I'm out on the helicarrier pad," Nat said. "I'll be right there," A few moments later, Clint appeared in the doorway that led out to the carrier.
"What happened?" He asked, instantly spotting Ellie. "I don't know. We should get her inside," Nat said, and Clint picked her up. They brought her down to the lab, where everyone was still gathered. "What happened to her?" Steve asked. "I don't know. She said 'The voices, they're so loud,' and passed out," Nat said.
"What could've happened?" Steve asked as Helen set her up on a hospital bed and hooked up an IV in the clinic. "I have no clue," Helen said. "Could...could it be connected to her powers?" Bruce offered. "Well, we know she has heightened senses. But she's never had an issue with it before. Anything could have caused it," Steve said, crossing his arms. "Anything else you know?" Helen asked.
"Well, you know about her invisibility, and she has heightened senses, enhanced durability, lung capacity, flexibility, speed, strength, and stealth, a venomous bite from enlarged fangs, and the ability to secrete various liquids from her wrists," Bruce said. "How do you know that?" Steve asked. "I read her file," Bruce admitted. "Well, none of that can help me figure out what's wrong with her," Cho said. "W-What now?" Bruce asked.
"We have to wait for her to wake up. I'll be in here, monitoring everything," Cho assured. "I'm not leaving," Clint said, crossing his arms. "Neither am I," Nat said. "Well, I don't know how long it will take for her to wake up. You might be here a while," Cho said, taking a seat near the monitors. Clint and Nat sat down on a small bench near the bed.
"Was she acting strangely before she passed out?" Cho asked from her spot. "She seemed to be staring at nothing, and when I asked her if she was okay, she brushed me off and walked away," Clint said. "Yeah, she went to the helicarrier pad, and when I found her, she was holding her head in her hands, like she had a headache," Nat added. "Well, to find anything more we'll have to wait for her to wake up," Cho said as Steve left to find the others. Tony was still in the room they had been in earlier, Bruce had joined him after Cho requested their absence.
"How is she?" Bruce asked, fiddling with his glasses. "She's okay. We still don't know what caused it, but Dr. Cho will be monitoring her until she wakes up," Steve said, sticking his hands in his pockets. Tony was staring at the table, his hand over his mouth. "Tony? Did you hear me?" Steve asked. "Yeah, I heard you. I'm thinking..." Tony trailed off. "Aren't you always?" Cap asked.
Several Hours Later...
Cho jolted awake, hearing an out of place beep. She went over, checking the monitors. There was a spike in brain-waves, which normally signaled that someone was waking up. Clint and Nat had fallen asleep on the bench, Nat with her head on Clint's shoulder. "Ellie?" Cho asked tentatively.
"Mm?" Was heard from the bed. "Are you awake?" Cho asked. "Mm," Was the reply. Cho sat back down, waiting for Ellie to fully wake up. A while later, there was stirring, in both the bed and on the bench.
"Ellie? Are you awake?" Cho asked. "Mm. What happened?" Ellie asked. "You passed out," Cho said, getting up and walking over. "What do you remember?" Cho asked. "I just remember...noise. Like someone had taken my hearing and dialed it up to 100," She said.
"That's...helpful. When did it start?" Cho asked. "When the others started arguing," She said. "Hmm. I'm going to run some tests, see how you're doing," Cho said. After running her tests, Cho came back, slightly surprised. "You're perfectly fine. Like nothing ever happened," Cho said, still staring at the tests.
Just then, Tony Stark decided to walk into the room. "Oh, lizard, get enough beauty sleep?" He asked, making Ellie roll her eyes. "What is it that you want, Stark?" She asked. "We've found Ultron. We have to strike now before he's ready for us," Tony said. "When do we leave?" She asked.
"As soon as you get out of bed and into your suit," Tony said, and Clint got up, going over to Tony. Clint led him a little ways away, then turned to him. "Are you sure about this? She just collapsed for no reason, is it a good idea to bring her out on the field?" Clint asked, worry lacing his voice. "Barton, you heard Cho. She's perfectly fine. Why do you care so much anyway?" Tony asked. "Am I not allowed to be worried about my teammate?" Clint asked.
"There's no point in having this conversation. We need all hands on deck, Ultron wiped the floor with us last time," Tony said, walking away. Ellie had vanished to go get her suit, returning with it on, mask in hand. "Clint, we can't tell her, she'll have a panic attack," Ellie said, after checking that no one was listening. "She'd ground the both of us for a year if she found out," She continued. "Trust me, I have no intention of her finding out," Clint assured her.
"Then we better get a move on. Ultron's waiting,"
