"Where are you guys? We're almost at the base?" Tony asked over the coms. "Relax, Shellhead. Not all of us can fly," I responded as Clint, Nat and I knocked out a driver and got into a jeep. "You can fly," Cap reminded me. "Not very well!" I said, hopping into the back of the jeep. I pulled out my pistol as Nat started the car up.

A bomb went off nearby and blue beams whizzed past us as we fired at the HYDRA goons. Another jeep came up beside us, but Thor took the driver out as I shot down a goon that was aiming at me. Hulk tossed a goon then started attacking some more as we drove past. I shot a goon in the head, killing him. The jeep turned to the side, and we lept off, the others beside us.

Stark flew up to the base, leaving the rest of us to deal with the goons. "Shit!" He exclaimed, hitting a barrier. "Language," Cap scolded, and I snorted. "JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" Cap asked. "The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken," JARVIS said.

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last," Thor said. A goon, the fool, ran up to me and tried to hit me. I punched him in the side of the head, knocking one of his teeth out. "Sorry," I said, leaping onto a tree, sticking with my gloves. "At long last is lasting a little long, boys and girl," Nat observed.

The tree I was on got hit by a beam, flinging me through the air. "I think we lost the element of surprise," Clint observed. "Thanks for that astounding observation, Sherlock," I said, ducking as another beam came flying my way. "Wait a second, no one is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language?'" Stark asked. "I know. Just slipped out," He said, a crash sounding on the coms.

Another goon fired at me, landing a shot on my com. I sighed as I heard it spark in my ear, taking a second to remove it. Since I was disconnected, I had no idea what was going on. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Hulk smashing through a bunker. A bomb went off near me, and a shot hit my prosthetic.

My suit ripped, and my leg took off somewhere. I saw that we had locked down the rest of the HYDRA goons, but I was down because my leg went I know not where. I heard roaring in the distance and saw Hulk shrinking. "Ellie! Come on, we're wrapped up here!" I heard Nat calling. "I'm over here!" I shouted as loud as I can.

Nat came jogging over, seeing my lying on the ground with one leg. "Where's your leg?" She asked. "I don't know. A bomb went off and sent it flying," I said. "Come on, up you go," She said, grabbing my hand and pulling me up. Draping one arm over my shoulder, she helped me to the quinjet, then let go.

I hopped over to the wall and leaned against it. "Why weren't you responding to the coms? We were calling you for 5 minutes," Cap said. "A goon got off a lucky shot that hit my com," I said. "You have a spare," Nat reminded me. "That was my spare," I said.

"What about the spare for your spare?" Nat asked. "I don't have one of those," I said, crossing my arm. Clint was lying on a platform thing, and I could hear opera playing from Bruce's headphones. There was a bit of tension when Thor said that the gate of Hel was filled with the screams of the Hulk's victims, but they were whimpers. Clint had a bandage around his stomach, presumably where he was hit, and an IV in his arm.

"Hey, Banner, Dr. Cho's on her way in from Seoul. Is it okay if she sets up in your lab?" Tony asked from the cockpit. "Uh, yeah, she knows her way around," Bruce said. "Thanks. Tell her to prep everything, Barton's gonna need the full treatment," Tony told JARVIS. "Very good, sir," JARVIS responded. "JARVIS, take the wheel," Tony said, his chair backing up.

While the rest of us slept, Thor, Tony, and Steve huddled around the scepter.
