"First, everyone on. Clint, Ellie, can you fly?" Cap asked as we filed onto the quinjet. "What do you take us for? Idiots? 'Course we can fly. Where to?" Clint asked. "Anywhere, for now," Cap said as everyone took their seats. "I think I might know somewhere," Clint said as Scott tossed me a first-aid kit. After taking care of my wounds and downing some ibuprofen, I tossed it to Wanda, who downed some as well.

I glanced at the coordinates Clint had punched in. "49°27'41.0"N 80°03'40.0"W? What's there?" I asked. "You'll see," He shrugged. "Everyone, get some sleep. It's gonna take 10 hours to get there, even with the enhanced speed of the quinjet," Clint informed us. I leaned back in my chair, swiftly dozing off due to exhaustion.

Shortly after, however, I was jolted awake as a lightning bolt shook the jet. "Shit!" I cursed, grabbing the wheel, and sending the jet flying to the side.  There was beeping on the monitor, and I glanced down to see that three missiles were heading towards us. I shoved the headphones on, flicking levers frantically. "This is S.H.I.E.L.D. 921, transmitting from the Atlantic. Disengage, I repeat, disengage!" I twisted the jet to avoid the missiles, the storm making the jet shake.

We were diving towards the water, and I barely managed to pull us up, the wings brushing the surface. I pushed forward on the wheel, making us go even faster. "Disengage, I repeat, disengage! We're friendlies, I've got two kids and a disabled man in transport! Disengage, over! Disengage, repeat, disengage!" The plane rolled over several times to avoid getting hit by the missiles. "Mayday! S.H.I.E.L.D. 921, friendly, abort, abort! There are children aboard, say again, there are children aboard this aircraft!" I shouted into the coms. "Abort! Abort! Abort! Abort! Abort! Abort!" I sent us nosediving as the missiles pulled up on either side.

As a last-ditch effort to keep us alive, I flicked open the back, grabbed two handguns, and shot each of the missiles, watching them explode. I shoved the emergency close button, and the hatch sealed shut. The entire team had woken up during the attempt on our lives, and most of them were in various stages of panic or fear. I was out-of-breath, the adrenaline having stolen all my air.

"That was...something,"
