We all broke off to go fetch our stuff, myself included. I darted to the room where my stuff was kept. I quickly donned my suit, putting the mask on. I strapped my rifle to my back and my dual pistols to my sides. Making sure the nanotech was working and my leg was properly secured, I sat down on the bench and tried to wrap my head around what we were about to do.
I pulled out the family photo I kept in my mom's jacket, staring at it. I folded it up, wrapped my mom's tags around it, and slid it into my suit above my heart. I took a deep breath and got into the quinjet. I leaned on the wall next to Pietro, my hand resting where the picture and tags were. What I wasn't expecting, was one of Cap's famous speeches.
"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace. And that's not gonna happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done. We find out what Ultron's been building, we find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters. That we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right," Cap said. We arrived in Sokovia in record timing. We sent out the Maximoffs to clear the city, while the rest of us help evacuate. Bruce went to go find, and free, Nat in the building we had located her in. Tony left to deal with Ultron while the rest of us get everyone out of Sokovia.
