It's a geek life (Aston Merrygold fanfic)

Part 10

I sat second from the end so Aston could sit one side and Paige, Fran and Sam could sit the other side. Aston sat next to me and then they joined us. I heard my phone buzz which meant I had a text. I got it out of my bright orange bag with a skull on. I thought it was an important text because everyone knows I hardly ever use my phone. So Aston had better feel appreciated by that I'm tell you. I looked at the screen. "Oh for goodness sake it's one of those spam texts again about accident compensation." I sighed. Aston giggled. "Yeah they're really annoying aren't they. Hey wait what's that as your wallpaper?" I showed it him. "It's nerdy Spongebob." I giggled. "Oh it looks like you. Apart from you don't have glasses." He giggled more. I pretended to look shocked. "Hey guys did you hear what Aston just said?" "No what did he say?" Fran asked. I showed them my wallpaper too. "He said it looks like me." They giggled at that too. "Well it does." "Oh thanks guys." I folded my arms like a little kid but then giggled and looked at Aston. Did he even know how gorgeous he is? Surely it should be illegal to be that good looking. Mind you if it was he wouldn't be here now would he?

The bus soon stopped and it was time to get off. I somehow struggled to get up. Being sat down on the bus for about an hour had turned my legs to jelly. "Come on then little miss jelly legs." Aston giggled and held his hands out to me so he could help me up. "OK then." I giggled back and slowly put my hands in his. He held my hands tight and pulled me up. "Thank you Ast." I smiled. That was the first time I'd called him Ast. It made me wonder if he'd had the same feeling I did when he first called me Danie. He smiled back. "Your welcome. Now lets see if your jelly legs can walk hey?" I walked but a little bit wobbly. "Yep, I can."

First stop was Primark. It wasn't far from where we got off the bus. It was also one of my favourite shops. The other 2 being New Look and Select. I had most of my stuff from there. I never could understand why people were so nasty about it. It did have some pretty good stuff at cheap prices. "Do you want a basket Danie?" Sam asked me as she picked one up. "Oh yes please. You know what I'm like in this shop." "Oh yeah. You buy too much in this shop." She laughed. Aston laughed too. "What have I let myself in for?" I giggled a little too. I was worried that would put him off. Am I being too paranoid or what?

I ended up buying about 12 things from Primark. I usually did buy about that many anyway. For a change most of it was essentials like jumpers, knitted leggings and fluffy nights and socks for the cold weather. We stopped off in a music shop because Aston wanted to go in. I had a look at some posters. They had a Big Bang Theory one and brought that as well as some Olly Murs CD's. I got my shopping list that I had already prepared and ticked off the things I'd already brought that were on there.

We then went to the nearby shopping centre that most of the good shops were in. We went into the accessory store called Claire's first. Nothing on my list was in that shop but we went in because Fran and Paige wanted to look round. I have a week spot for earrings though which wasn't very useful. I have the most random earrings though including bananas, robots, penguins and of course Spongebob. If you haven't already noticed I love Spongebob.

I was looking at the dangly earrings because I loved them the most. I could feel someone was behind me. I didn't really pay much notice because I was usually wrong about that sort of thing. "Boo." I heard someone say in my ear which made me jump. Then I heard the sweet sounding laughter that could have only come from one person. Aston. "Aston stop that! You scared me." "That was the point." He giggled. I hit him playfully and then accidentally knocked some things off the stand. "See now look." I bent down to pick them up and he helped me. De ja vu or what?
