The next day neither me or Aston could stop smiling even though it was the last day of our holiday. I couldn't believe it. I was marrying Aston Merrygold! Me, little old me. Yeah so my engagement ring wasn't your average one. I didn't care it was still as pretty as any other one. It was unique and very me anyway. Aston sure did know me well. That's one of the reasons I love him. He goes out of his way to make me feel special. He didn't care if it was different than what everyone else had but he'd do it if it made me happy.
We went on my favourite rides again and then watched the parade. I was sad to leave Disneyland but excited to be able to tell everyone at home the amazing news. We sat inside a cafe drinking some tea and eating some really yummy cake while watching the parade go past. The Disney Princesses and Princes went past in carriages. Aston looked at me. "That will be us soon." He smiled. I looked at him and smiled back. "Oh yeah, I know. I really can't wait." It was true though. I really couldn't. I was definitely the most luckiest girl in the world. Maybe ever.
A long journey home awaited us. 6 hours on 2 trains just to get home was a task in itself. It was even worse when you have these really annoying and posh guys sat opposite you playing a cricket video game. Well actually that's better than having drunk people on the Eurostar I guess. They had even given their kids beer for goodness sake. I'd fallen asleep as I cuddled up to Aston. I woke up when Aston softly moved the hair out of my face. "Oh gosh, sorry babe. I didn't mean to wake you. You looked so peaceful too." He said feeling bad for waking me up. "That's OK Ast. Don't worry. It's hard to sleep on a train anyway." I replied as I hugged him that little bit tighter.
Finally we got home and there was the biggest pile of post ever. That's the one thing I hate about going away. There is far too much post when you get back. Letters can be annoying enough when there isn't a pile load of it anyway. Ah well. That was the last thing on my mind at the moment. I already had ideas going through my head for the wedding. I didn't care if I'd only been engaged a day but I wanted to be well prepared and organised for a change. I was the kind of person who easily forgot stuff if I had more important things to remember. So I think my wedding was safe at least.
So anyway, that's the story of me and my husband Aston Iain Merrygold. Our wedding was perfect and like a fairytale. I had a princess style wedding dress and of course Aston was in a wonderfully sexy suit. He'd look sexy in a bin bag but that's not really the point. Our first dance was the Dirty Dancing routine. I had always wanted to do that as my first dance when I got married and Aston let me. Well like I said earlier he always made me happy no matter what he had to do to do it. We have been happily married for 6 years now. We have the most beautiful children ever, Olly who's 4 and Caitlin who's 1. I did become a teacher like I wanted too as well. I wouldn't change my life for the world. If you'd have told me when I first met Aston in that library that I would end up marrying him I wouldn't have believed you. But now I believe we have a wonderful life ahead of us.
The End
