Hinata x short! Reader

You were walking to your school as usual, it seemed like a normal day but trust me. It wouldn't be. Your friends were teasing you about your height, you were quite short and no kid in your grade was as short as you. Or so you thought. As you walked to class you heard some ruckus in Gym 3, so you chose to check it out.

You run to the gym and see two boys arguing, one was kind of tall. About average height for a boy in your school. The other one looked like your height. Which shocked you. You hadn't seen anyone as short as you in your class besides yachi and let alone being a boy, you didn't realize you were staring until he looked over at you. You quickly got nervous and ran off, mentally cursing at yourself for getting caught.

In second period you noticed he was in your English class and he was not enjoying it. He wasn't focused at all and he was trying to talk to the other taller guy you saw with him earlier, but Mr. tall just kept yelling at your new found crush for bothering him. The teacher than called out your crush to answer a question, that's how you got his name. Hinata. Awesome!

Now you had something to call him by, but your fear of confronting him became quite an issue when your teacher noticed something. He was failing, badly. And you had a 100% in their class

"I want you to tutor Hinata for me. Is that okay with you?"

"Sick! Wow you were the girl at the gym Earlier today right!! Your short like me! And your smart too! That's so cool! Oh btw don't talk to kageyama he is rly mean and will bully you and tsukishima will call you short or chibi chan and it's annoying but-"

"Hinata... focus." The teacher said.

"I-I can tutor him I-if you want.." you mumbled out nervously.

"Great! Come over to my place tonight!! See ya there!"

"Wait I don't know where you live-!" You yelled at he ran out of the classroom, but it was too late. He left. You would be forced to wait for him to finish volleyball practice, that's what Yachi told you.

So you waited outside the door for him, and when it Finally ended you explained you didn't have his address. "Oh! Silly me, just walk home with me then!"

Your face lit up like a red Christmas light, but you nodded not remembering how to form words. As you walked home he continued to talk.

"You seem shy? And your blushing. Do you have a crush on someone??"

"I- what??????? N-no of c-course not!"

"Your lying!😂" he giggled out.

"I-"

you buried your face into your hands. And he stoped to look at you. Then he realized, he walked in front of you and pulled your hands out of your face. "Your crush is me, Isnt it?"

You silently nodded from embarrassment, like how embarrassing could it get. You only met him today but still you couldn't help but nearly pass out every time you were near him.

"Well, guess what. "

"Hm.."

"I think your cute, kageyama made a bet I couldn't get a girlfriend, and your shorter than me!! So~ maybe I'll just do- this!"
He kissed you lightly on the lips and pulled back. You froze in shock, trying to contemplate what just happened.

"I-I- w-what just-"

"Don't worry about that! Let's go to my house and teach me how to study! And I can teach you volleyball!"

You knew you just met him that day, and that he most likely kissed you because you liked him. But who knows. Maybe as you get to know eachother better than you can grow into a better relationship. But that's not important. What's important is For now, you just have to make sure he passes English .
