You say in the corner of the room, two bottles of pills in your hand. "I'm okay I'm okay... I'm okay... I'm okay..." you repeated to yourself trying to prevent your long awaited death, of which you only wanted to come so much sooner. Your cat, the only one who you felt loved you curled up next to you. You started to cry and In anger you threw the bottles across the room and screamed into your knees before crying again, and falling asleep on the floor, holding the cat tightly.

The following morning your mother walked into the room and oh so gently kicked you in the gut to wake you up. You made sure the cat wasn't there before you were thrown into a coughing fit before hearing your moms voice,

"hey slut. Get up you have school or some shit.. Apparently you missed so many days that I'll go to court if you miss anymore?? The fuck is up with that! Get your ass up and get ready"

You winced as she pulled you up by your hair. You didn't even change your clothes and started to walk to school, no pack back, just hoodie and leggings. Before you saw her at least, your bully. She hated you for some reason and made it her job to ruin your life, well. More than it was already ruined.

She pulled you by your hair and threw you to the ground. "Hey lil bitch, did you bring the money??"

"I told you. I don't HAVE any money!"

"Don't talk back whore!" She kicked your chin making you fall to the ground.

You turned your head away from her to avoid getting hurt anymore. She put her foot on your head, "money. Tomorrow. Or your oh so precious cat dies."

You froze, you may have let her beat you up but not your cat. You stood your self up and yelled "Who the fuck do you think you are?"

"Excuse me bitch?"

"GUESS WHAT! I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO LIVE FOR! I DONT HAVE A FAMILY! I DONT HAVE FRIENDS! I DONT HAVE MONEY OR HAPPINESS OR ANYTHING LIKE YOUR GIFTED ASS DOES! ALL I HAVE IS A DAMN CAT AND A CRUSH ON MY ONLY FRIEND WHO WILL NEVER LOVE ME THE WAY I LOVE HIM AND NOW YOUR TRYING TO TAKE MY CAT AWAY FROM ME?? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT"

you went to run after her but someone wrapped their arms around your waist, you broke down into tears and you heard him say something before having the girl leave.

You ended up passing out from the adrenaline but when you woke up, you were in someone's house. " where am I? Shit I have to get home.."

"Now wait." Bokuto said,

"Who- oh my god... bokuto.. I'm so so sorry I really have to go!!"

You stood up and went to jump out his window, when he grabbed your arm.

"Woah there tiger, You can leave the front door... but we should talk, I want to know if-"

"Sorry!!" You yelled before running away. Once you got outside it was dark out and you knew you'd be killed. You ran home and after you finally got there your mom was standing on the front porch. With your cat in her hand, "what's this? I ASKED YOU A QUESTION. WHAT IS THIS!"

"My cat!"

"A cat... you got your self a damn STRAY! This is the shit that made your father leave!" She screamed and threw the cat to the ground, you ran to it, "NO!! Baby!!!"

"Baby? Is that what you named the animal? My daughter really is dumb."

"She's dead.... she broke her neck... you killed her!!!"

"I killed her before you got home, I thought it was a stray. My bad."

"Oh my god..."

You ran into the house, or tried to but got yanked back by your hair again. "You slut, your not leaving so soon."

You kicked your mother in the crotch and ran to your room to grab the pills, then jumped out the window and ran. You thought you twisted your ankle but it didn't matter, you kept running. You ran and ran for hours on end in the pouring rain, Just wanting everything to end.

You found a little tree near the park you use to go to when you were a little kid, you sat and leaned against it and cried for hours, you cried and cried and you were about to take the pills, but you remembered bokuto. You didn't want to die without him knowing your true feelings. So you dug a little hole and burried the pills, than ran to his house.

He opened the door to you, soaked in the rain. "Oh my gosh! (Y/n) what are you doing outside, come in!"

"I can't.. I just wanted to tell you something. I'll be quick I promise..."

"Okay..?"

"I- i love you..."

"I know silly, I love you too"

"No! Not like that! I love you the way a girlfriend loves her boyfriend! That's not supposed to be how friends feel!!"

"I'm sorry, I love you... goodbye.."

You ran off and heard him yell something, but ignored it. You ran back to the tree and rushed to dig back up the hole, you found the bottles and struggled to open them. Finally it opened and you poured the pills into your hand and swallowed all of them whole. Right as you were getting upset trying to open the second one someone grabbed your hand, and started to cradle you with one arm.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING (Y/N)!!!! Oh my god.... WHY??? I- DID YOU NOT HEAR ME???"

"I-I'm sorry..." your eyes got lazy as you started to fall asleep in his arm, he picked you up bridal style and threw you in his car before you fell asleep. And that's the last of what you remember.

You woke up in a hospital, and saw bokuto at the edge of your bed crying. "Kou? What's wrong..."

His head snapped up and starred at you, before running to the top of your bed and hugging you. Continuing to cry into your shoulder. "Please don't ever do that to yourself again please. Don't do it to me either. I couldn't take it.."

"I'm sorry"

You stayed like that until the doctor said you could be discharged. Bokuto took you home and payed in bed with you, he refused to let you go until you both fell asleep. You still had a lot to get used to and need a ton of time to get better. But until then Atleast you know he won't leave your side.
