Leaving

I went to school like everyday. my head down not like the usual Jade who doesn't give a damn about anybody.

I got in and they were all looking at me as i walked down the hallway not knowing where I'm going. thought i could do this on my own. i wanted her back. but no one seemed to care.

they liked how this carol didn't care about anything. she just wakes up in the morning everyday to get her pay check at the end of the month.

unlike Lena. Lena cares about everybody in this school. She comes here with passion to see everybody..

I hated how i let her down. I went to the principal's office and just stood in front of the door. "are you okay?" leah asked as she placed her hand on my shoulder.

I nodded. "I just miss her.." I knocked on the door and got in. I placed the paper carol gave me for my parents to sign on the desk. I may or may not have gotten in few fights.

I went to the door. "did i say you can leave?". i turned to face her with my red face. "why don't you like me? everyone in this school is impressed by my work to clean up after that stupid principal". i banged on her desk and she winced.

"great principals constantly pay attention. they inspire. they support families, students, and school staff in ways that lead to improvement. They want to be trusted Miss Jones, not simply liked, she'll come back and MAKE YOU CLEAN AFTER YOUR SHIT!" I left the office and went to class. everything was fine, until I went home and she wasn't there standing in the balcony.

I saw Lana getting out of her car and coming to me. "I didn't want to tell you at school, Jade. umm Lena left to jersey..she's not coming back again..". I giggled. "great Joke..".

"I'm not joking, Jade.." she frowned.

"but...but she didn't tell me" tears began falling on my cheeks.

"she didn't want to make you upset.." she hugged me.

"you're joking!!" I got in their house.

"LENA!!!" I yelled as i went to her room and didn't find her.

"NOOO!!, LENA" I fell on the floor and cried.

"Jade..no. she wouldn't want you to cry like that..please"

I took out my phone and saw her text.

L: I hope you're seeing this before Lana tells you.

L: Jadey I'm sorry. I left and didn't get to hug you one last time. or taste you lips for the last time. I hope you and Lana have a nice life together and be happy. I'm so sorry. I really am. I promise you you'll always be part of my thoughts. I'll be deleting your number so don't call me. I'll try hard to forget you. Take care of yourself and don't fight people. I'm not there to save you anymore. It hurt to see other girls staring at you out of likeness while i'm the one that's in love with you. please don't cry or hurt yourself. I love you. i really do and I miss you already. Take care of your self baby..

she just called me baby.."why did she leave?" i sniffled. I called her even though she told me not to. "hello?" she said like she didn't know the number. she really did delete me.

"why did you leave?"

she was silent. "why did you leave me? I was ready to do anything for you to come back..and you just left?"

"I'm sorry.." she hung up. is she serious??. I looked at Lena who cupped my face and kissed my forehead. "I miss her, too".

"why did she do this??" I cried.

I went home and saw them eating dinner. "where were y..why are you crying baby?" mom stood up and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm fine..I wanna go to my room, if that's okay" I Sniffled and went to my room. I sat in the balcony and stared at where she used to sit and wait for me. I can see her sitting there. I love her. and I'm getting her back.

I quickly opened my closet and looked for the red hoodie she gave me. Instead, I found the 3 shirts she threw at me that day. I sniffed them hesitantly and cried as I remembered her Lavender smell and leaned against the wall. I locked the door and laid in bed next to her shirt.

I miss her even though I saw her in the morning. She could've told me and I wouldn't be able to stop her. I could've at least hugged her for the last time..

My door was knocked few times. "What do you want???" I yelled.

"Jade open the door.." Hermione said.

I stood up and opened the door. She got in and hugged me. "What's wrong?" She frowned. I shook my head and went back to laying in bed.

"Those tears aren't nothing, Jade. Come on. I'm your sister, tell me.." she sat on the edge of the bed.

"I like someone..in fact, I'm in love with someone.." I said as I buried my face in my pillow.

"Well, that's great!. Who is she?" She touched my ankle.

"Is it someone I know?" She said clearly wanting me to answer her question.

I nodded. "Umm..Denise?" She widened her eyes in excitement.

"I mean that girl's hot!" She giggled. "It's not her..she's not even my type..".

"Well, then who is it?" She sighed.

"It's..it's Lena.." I went back to crying all over again.

Her lips parted and gasped quietly. "Don't cry..why are you crying??" She pulled me into her.

"Because she left town!!. She's not coming back" I sobbed on her shoulder. "What?..oh god.".

She started rubbing my back as I closed my eyes and tried to hold back my tears. "I'm sorry you had to go through this.."she wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me into her.

"I miss her..she didn't even tell me she's leaving..".

" we all miss her.."
