Police Station

I stormed into the police station and went straight up to the desk. 

"Can I help you miss?" Said the police woman behind the desk.

I nodded. "Yeah, I was attacked last night be someone called Jake Morghan, I was told If I wanted to press charges against him I need to do it before five today, so please can I do that?" 

She looked at the files in the draw and got up and went into a room in the back, I waited impatiently for her to come back for at least 20 minutes, then she came back in with a male officer. 

"I'm sorry ma'am but I'm afraid Mr Morghan has been released without charge already this morning at about 10 AM because nobody pressed charges." The man said.

"But I was told when I just came out of hospital that I had until 5PM because I was in a bad state." I felt rage inside of me. 

The man shook his head. "I'm sorry Miss, we can't give that long, whoever was given that information was given it incorrectly or they'd made it up themselves." He said. 

I nodded. "Oh, okay then, thank-you sir." I said, and turned on my heels and walked out. 

I walked around the corner to see Danny leaning against his car and smoking.

"You fucking lied to me?" I shouted at Danny. 

He looked up at me confused. "About what?" He asked.

I punched his arm. "You lied to me about the time he would be locked in a cell for. You told me I had until five and they just told me they released him this morning because they cannot leave it until five." I snapped.

"I was told that by the police officer who got out of the car last night and arrested him." Danny said.

I sighed. 

"Then I don't know." I said, I went to turn to walk off.

But Danny put his hand on my shoulder, I pulled away and stormed off.
