I closed the door and turned, I saw Danny smirking at me, folding his arms and not saying a word. 

I rolled my eyes and put the flowers in a vase.

I sat at the table whilst Danny dished the lunch up and brought it over to the table and sat himself facing me. 

"So..." He asked. 

I was digging into my food happily, but I knew it wouldn't last long. I looked up and sighed. 

"What Danny?" I asked and carried on digging into my lunch. 

He picked his fork up and poked his food around for a bit. 

"What's the Jake thing about then?" He asked whilst taking a bite of his food. 

"Nothing. He's just, been seeing me a lot lately and he wants me to forgive him for attacking me and getting away with it all." I said. "He just wants to be my friend again so he knows he doesn't have to feel bad about it all anymore." 

"So he's begging for your attention then?" He asked.

I just nodded.

"You could just tell him to fuck off." 

"Danny, you can't just be a cunt to everyone all the time and tell them to fuck off when they are kind of trying to be nice after doing something terrible. Don't you know about forgiving and forgetting?" I said. 

He shook his head. "No, Lexy, you see, that motherfucker attacked you and made you lose your spot in your band, which YOU created. Then at the end of it all he gets away with it. He just wants you to forgive and forget, that's exactly what he wants and you shouldn't do that, because you are taking his bullshit, it's all a game. He just wants you to forgive and forget so he can stop feeling like a bastard, but you shouldn't give him what he wants, you should be a 'cunt' and you would call it. To him, so he learns his fucking lesson to not hit anyone, especially a female." 

I could hear the anger in Danny's voice, was he getting this protective? 

"Danny, he was my friend, anger took over him, I want to forgive him." I said.

Danny dropped his fork and hit the table. 

"Fucking hell! LEARN. He put you through all of that depression Lexy!" He shouted at me, then he calmed down and looked sad at me, he got up and walked upstairs, whilst I sat there shocked.
