The Friday after.

I was chilling with the boys at my place, they were drinking and few beers and I was sticking to my cola. We were having a boys night, talking and playing cards. 

"So Danny, how's Lexy?" Cameron asked me. 

I shrugged my shoulders, she's been ignoring me so much and I didn't know what I had ever done to her. 

"I haven't seen or spoke to her." I said.

"What? Really? I thought you two were close." Ben said hearing the conversation.

"Nooo." I said. "She's always running from me when we get close." 

Ben looked confused. "Why the hell does she do that?" 

"I don't know man, she's just...confusing I guess." I said.

She really was, I really liked her, normally I'd have given up on someone if they were hinting that they didn't like me back, but for some reason I felt like I should go after Lexy.

Cameron patted my back. "Dude, I hope she comes round to her senses soon enough and dates you, you two would probably work if she let it." 

I nodded. "Yeah..thanks man."
