I was with Kev as we had gotten Subway for lunch but there was a crowd around Betty's locker so we went to see what was going on. "Oh my god where's the others?" I said as we ran to get Jug and we saw him with Veronica. "Jug, It's Betty's locker. Come on, it's bad. Come on, come on!". We saw Betty frozen in front of her locker and we tried to get her to come with us but everyone was taking pictures. I took her home and I went straight home to crash but I saw my dad with Thomas. Why?! "Hey dad, why is this baboon here? Maybe for another slap," I said, looking Thomas straight in the eye. "Lila, play nice. I'm going to make some snacks, you two talk.". "Lila-". "-I told my boyfriend what you did, you pig. What the hell is wrong with you Thomas?". "I'm sorry I never meant to... I just like you Lila. Okay I'm sorry," Thomas then walked out. What the hell. "Dad, what is going on with him?". "I think he just really likes you but I think he just struggles and you are kinda the one thing that makes him happy," Why me? All we ever do is fight. "You're wrong dad, I'm going to sleep.". I went up to my room and Thought about the fact that Thomas has always been nothing but mean to me. The next morning , I went to meet the gang and B had some news for us all.

"The craziest thing is, I have a secret brother out there in the world. It's positively Dickensian. I love a long-lost brother," B said as she was telling Archie, Kev and I. "How old would he be?". - "Mid-twenties.". "Oh, my God. That's actually crazy, we are now living in Gossip girl," I said as Betty's phone began to rang. "Guys I was thinking that we should all have a sleepover and just be like teenages again.". "Yes please I'll bring over Magic Mike-". "-And I'll bring over some video games to kick all your asses in," Red said, sounding pretty confident. "That's if you beat me this time, I think I remember Jug and I kicking your ass and you crying like a little baby," I high fived Kevin as we laugh then Betty starts looking upset as she ends the call. "B what's wrong?". "Jughead he... He's gone. He's gone to Southside High. He said it's where he belongs and that no one wants him here.". "FP warned us Jug would try to cut himself off, go to the dark side. Let's go get him!". We went off to Southside High, it's funny how this could've been the school I would've gone to if it wasn't for my mum. We all walked straight in and the hallways were empty but we figured out that he would be at the cafeteria. We walked in to see him laughing, long story short... We all went outside for a quick talk. "Hey guys I'm gonna call my dad but I'm not getting any service here so I'll be back in a sec," I quickly walked through a shortcut in the woods to Sweetriver lake and it is freaking freezing. I'm so cold, I think I see Cheryl across the frozen lake... Oh my god. "Cheryl!" I shouted but she just stopped walking so I picked up the phone and I called Betty screaming for them to come here and help. I quickly walked up to Cheryl. "Cheryl what are you doing?" She just turned and looked at me like she saw a ghost. "I've come to be with Jason. Have you come to be with your sister Anna?". I was just taken by surprise at the fact that Cheryl remembers her. "You remember Anna?". "Of course. She was nice, Jason really liked her but maybe they're together now. Don't you think they'd want us to be with them Lila?". "No Cheryl, they'd want us to be alive and safe now please come with me," Suddenly, I hear Archie, Betty, Kev and Jughead screaming mine and Cheryl's name. "I can't let you leave Lila, my brother liked you so he would be happy to see us both. Stay with me please," Cheryl took my wrists and was holding onto them really tight. "Cheryl stop, this isn't what our families would want. Jason would want you to be happy, please Cheryl we can figure this out together please," She nodded but suddenly, I felt the ice break underneath us and we went under. No. This can't be it. All I could feel was the freezing water trying to pull me away from the surface and take my last breath. The panic had my heart hammering against her ribs and it was getting harder and harder for me to breathe. I kind of saw Archie's face through the ice as he and the others were trying to break the ice. Every cell in my body is bloody screaming for oxygen. I tried to keep fighting until I felt like my head was about to explode, I had to take a breath. I couldn't. Then I saw Cheryl and we tried to fight but then, I saw Anna's body and she looked like she was trying to take me with her but no it wasn't in a good way. Her skin was moldy and looked like her skin was fading each second. I started screaming with every bit of energy in my body but for some reason, it slowly started to not hurt anymore. I begin to fall. I fall further and further into the darkness until it threatens to swallow me whole. Suddenly, my eyes widened as I regained my breath back and I spat out some water. I was coughing and shaking like crazy as Archie was running with me in his arms. I woke up shriveling as I looked up to see Archie with both his arms wrapped in bandages and blood. I looked around my room to see the gang sleeping on the floor and even my dad is sitting in the corner. I tried to speak but it was hard. "G-Guys?" Everyone then started to wake up and give me hugs. "Oh my god Lila, we were so worried about you! Don't ever do that again," B said as she gave me a big hug. "Lilac, I could've lost you, don't try anything that stupid again okay or no more buying me burgers," Jug said as he messed up my hair. Kev gave me kisses all over my face and everyone was just getting ready for the Jubilee. "Lila, I could've lost you. I'm sorry, I just want you to be safe. I want to be the person that keeps you safe, I wanna be the person that you can always come to no matter what and I wanna be the guy who can be your soulmate Lila. I know you wanna see the world and do everything there is to do, I wanna be the person you call to do that with you. I just wanna be enough for you," I started getting so emotional, I kissed him and looked him in the eyes. "Archie, you're more than enough for me. I would be happy to have you by my side and to show you how happy you make me, I did a little something for you while you went to get some food downstairs," His phone started to ring and I quickly got on my outfit. "Lilac you sure you should go?" Dad asked, trying to be protective. "Yes I'm sure, I'll be fine okay. I'll take it easy and I'll stay warm. I love you dad.". "I love you too Lilac and no matter what I always will love you just don't ever do that again," We hugged and the second I pulled apart from dad, Red spun me around and was so screaming with joy. "You told Josie?". "Of course I did, you deserve to play that song for everyone to hear-". "-You mean our song.". I went up to the guest room to check up on Cheryl and she was fast asleep then we all headed to the Jubilee.

"Welcome, one and all, to Riverdale's anniversary Jubilee celebration! I couldn't be any more thrilled to introduce my daughter, Josie, and her Pussycats, as they perform alongside our local heroes, Archie Andrews, and Lila Landon!". We all headed on stage as Josie had a little something to say. "Hi, hi, everyone. We're switching things up tonight. We are singing a song that my boy and girl, Archie and Lila, wrote. We finished and everyone was cheering like crazy, up next was my girl, Betty. "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I'd like to thank Mayor McCoy for inviting me to speak on this historic day. Seventy-five years of Riverdale... But what is Riverdale? It's the people, right? You, me, our friends, our neighbors. Riverdale is Archie Andrews. Kevin Keller is Riverdale. Lila Landon, she's Riverdale. But you know who else is Riverdale? FP Jones, who we were so quick to blame for Jason's murder. Jughead Jones is Riverdale, the very soul of Riverdale. Without him, we may not have ever found out what happened to Jason. And yet how do we thank him? By banishing him. Which is what we do when the truth gets too ugly in Riverdale. Truth being that Clifford Blossom was also Riverdale. Riverdale's at a crossroads. If we don't face the reality of who and what we are, if we keep lying to ourselves and keeping secrets from each other, then what happened to Jason could happen again. Or, God forbid, something even worse. Riverdale must do better. We must do better," Everyone cheered and we were all happy that night so to celebrate, we all went to Pop's. "To Archie Andrews, who saved the cheerleader, got the girl and saved the town.". "You know what, actually I think it was Lila's bravery. Here, here to Lila Landon.". "Cheers to us all," I said as we splashed our milkshakes everywhere. We had many milkshakes that night, and we all felt that as dangerous as the world around us had become, here, at least in this booth, we were safe.

I head back to my house with Archie as I didn't really wanna be apart from him. "Tonight was amazing, you were amazing brown eyes," Archie turned me around slowly and started to kiss me. "Archie, I don't want to stop. I just want all of you tonight," He picked me and took me up to my room as we kissed like crazy and couldn't keep our hands off each other. I've always learnt in movies that sex is a very big part of love, it can bond you together for life. I want to enjoy it, but most of all, I want him to enjoy it. I stop kissing his lips and move to his jawline, neck, and collarbone. Kissing every inch, I can feel the struggle to keep his hands down. I place soft butterfly kisses down his chest and abs. He buries his head into my neck and his hands rove all over my body. Our breathing then becomes rough and fast. He pulls me up and starts taking off my skirt and jumper, leaving me in just my underwear. "You're beautiful." He says while kissing my chest. His hand comes up to my bra and doesn't attempt to undo the strap. He grabs the middle and yanks. I hear the fabric rip and gasp at what he just did. "I've got you, Lila," he says. We lock eyes for just a moment, just enough for us to feel safe with one another. He took all of me this time, savored every moment. The whole night was filled with nothing but moans and giggles, for my first time, it was perfect. Its morning and I wake up to see Archie brushing my hair away from my face and giving me a kiss on the head. "Morning angel, my dad texted me asking to meet me at Pop's and you know what that means.". "Do you want me to come with?". "You sure Lila? I just want you to take it easy.". "I'm fine Red just help me get some clothes on," He kissed me and just couldn't keep his hands off me. We walked into Pop's and saw Fred. "Hey, guys. I, uh... I ordered you the usuals. "Thanks, Dad. I'm just gonna go wash my hands," Red kissed my head then as he went to the bathroom, a man in black comes in and starts yelling. "Who's in charge here? Show me where the safe is!". Fred tells me to get down but the man comes up to us and starts yelling. He yanks me and puts a gun to my head and starts yelling. "Give me your wallet!". Suddenly, I see Archie come out, terrified and he screams "No!" before a gun is shot and everything has gone black. Darkness. Imagine this instant, frozen in time. People will look back at this as the exact moment that the last bit of Riverdale's innocence finally died. When darkness won. Marked by an act of violence, that was anything but random.

I want to thank everyone who has been reading this book. I am so grateful to every single one of you as it hasn't been easy especially with what's going on in the world right now but thank you so much. I will soon start season 2 so let me know for what you would like to see in season 2. Maybe some flashbacks with Lila and her sister, or maybe Lila with someone else... Thank you!!
