Job hunting

"Yeah one guy did run through the school yard, left all the desks in a state. Luckily Frankie could fix 'em up before the kids arrived."
'Are you sure it was just one guy?'
"Jamie I may be pregnant but there's nothing wrong with my eyes."
Alice rubbed her belly and rolled her eyes at James.
'No offence meant Mrs Longbottom, just trying to get information.'

"Thank you for your help Lupin, you really didn't have to do all the dishes."
'Its no trouble. You should probably stay off your feet more often.'
Lily smiled as she looked down at her belly.
"I'm hardly far enough along for all the mollycoddling. Besides you're a guest, not a washer."
'Actually I was thinkin' of asking Sirius if he might have a job for me?'
"That's a smashing idea!"

'Sirius?'
Sirius looked up from wiping down the bar.
"Lu- Remus?"
Remus walked nervously toward the bar.
'So, uh, I wanted to ask you somethin' a lil' awkward...'
"Oh heavens to Betsy! Something happened last night didn't it!?"
Sirius hung his head; his dark, mid-length, wavy hair obscuring his face.
'If by somethin' you mean I helped you up the stairs despite your protests that you were perfectly fine even after stumblin' three times then sure.'
Sirius lifted his head, eyebrows raised.
"Seriously?"
Remus nodded .
'Yeah. What else would have happened?'
"It's just... i was really blottered... I can't quite recall... my trousers were unbuttoned!"
Sirius was bright red. Remus threw his head back and laughed openly.
Sirius stared at him in shock which only made Remus laugh harder. Sirius crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well forgive me for hoping I hadn't made some more extremely poor choices like letting a stranger live in the next room even though he's pointed a gun at me."
Remus walked around the bar and put his hands on Sirius's arms.
'You may not know me that well but even I wouldn't take advantage of a drunk fool. Even if he did try to undress in front of me. I just wanted to ask if you'd give me a job.'
