That's a wrap

James was just about to knock on Regulus's door when Lily grabbed his arm.
"James, please no sheriff business tonight, let's just enjoy the evening."
'I can't make any promises but I will refrain from bringing anything up myself.'

"So Reg, how do you know Lupin?"
Lily asked between mouthfuls of food.
'We attended boarding school together a few towns over didn't we John?'
Regulus sipped his wine while he nodded towards Remus.
"John? I thought your name was Remus?"
Remus looked between Regulus and Sirius.
'Uh I did attend boarding school with Gus here. Sirius could I have a quick word in the other room?'
Sirius nodded, excusing himself from the table and heading into the parlour. James watched Sirius walk out the room, concern creasing his brows.
"Since when do people call you Gus Reg?"
'I went by Gus at school because Regulus is a ridiculous name and I didn't want the townies mocking me.'

"So John, I'm a bit at sea about what's happening?"
Sirius crossed his arms and glared at Remus. Remus took a deep breath.
'Okay, first of all my name really is Remus, I didn' lie abou' that.'
"But there is something you did lie about then?"
'Yes. I didn' just run into your saloon to hide from the gunfight. I was kinda looking for...'
"What Remus? What were you hoping to find?"
Remus rushed forward pulling Sirius towards him by his collar.
'For you!'
And he pressed their lips together.

"Wait Snape! That's James's horse."
Peter pulled Snape back from barging into the backdoor.
'So?'
"If he sees me he'll arrest me!"
'Well stay here then!'
Snape barged into the house but froze when he saw Sirius and Remus. They jumped apart as the door slammed into the wall.
"Snape!?"

At the sound of the door banging open James jumped up, gun in hand and ran into the parlour. Regulus pulled Lily up and stood in front of her as a shield in case any shots were fired.
"Hands behind your head Snivellus!"
