Volume 3 Ep. 2 - New Challengers

"Retreat!" Jaune orders out of panic. Team JNPR retreats back to the mountain terrain. 'Probably the sniper...' I thought to myself. Team BRNZ took the chance to push their offenses.

Team JNPR ran out of their hiding spot and spread out. I looked at the forest and saw the sniper moving in. Looking back at Team JNPR, my eyes widen as one of the members of Team BRNZ electrocuted Ren.

"Ren!" Nora shouted. Out of rage, Nora charges at the guy who tazed Ren. She swings her hammer and the guy ducked. The guy went ahead to taze Nora. "Ooh, bad idea..." I muttered under my breath.

"Oh-ho! Looks like one of my favorite students, Nora Valkyrie, is charging up to use her semblance!" Professor Port speaks on a holographic screen. The student looks up at the screen starting to panic.

"Yes, Ms. Valkyrie's Semblance lets her produce, as well as channel, electrical energy straight to her muscles! This allows her to jump explosively into the air, wield her mighty hammer, or in this case, absorb Nolan's attacks and send the young man flying!" Dr. Oobleck informs.

Nolan steps back in fear. Nora charges up as Nolan raises his hand in surrender. Nora booped her hammer on his lower regions... sending Nolan back into a nearby boulder.

I cringed in pain as I sympathized him. "Nora! Get to the mountain!" Jaune orders. "You got it!" She saluted and ran towards the mountain. "Ren, try and distract the sniper!" He tells his male teammate. "Sure, why not." Ren sarcastically responds.

Both Jaune and Pyrrha push up and push Team BRNZ's offense. "Yeah! Go get 'em, Jaune!" Ruby cheered. "Well, he's certainly improved." Weiss complimented. "Yeah, but he ain't got nothing on Pyrrha!" Yang whoops.

I look back at the battlefield and watch Pyrrha single-handedly fight two members of Team BRNZ. Ren dashes towards the sniper. Nolan, recovering from his injury, steps in his way. Ren skillfully takes care of him and captures Nolan using him as a meat shield.

I saw the glint of the rifle's scope aim at Nora. "Nora!" Ren shouted. Jaune notices. "Pyrrha, up!" Jaune calls to her. Pyrrha dashes towards Jaune. Jaune brings his shield up as Pyrrha jumps up into the air with a boost from Jaune's shield.

Pyrrha gets up there in time and deflects the shot. Nora finally reached the top of the mountain. She brings her hammer up and gathers the storm's energy. Nora transforms her hammer into her grenade launcher. She shoots her six grenades towards the forest.

The grenades form a heart shape as it reaches the forest. Nora didn't hesitate and jumps off the mountain transforming her grenade launcher back into her hammer. She shouts in joy as she brings her hammer down onto the field.

The three teammates of Team BRNZ were in the area of the blast and were pushed back towards Team BRNZ's sniper. "This is it, guys! Let's finish 'em with team attacks!" Jaune shouts with a raise of his sword.

"Ren! Nora! Flower Power!" He shouted a team name attack. "Wait, what?" Nora lets out, confused. Jaune lowers his blade and looks back at a befuddled Team JNPR.

"F -- Flower Power. That's your team attack name!" Jaune reminded. "Since when?" Ren asks him. "Guys, we've been over this! Flower Power is Ren and Nora! Ren brings the flower, Nora brings the power!" Jaune went over.

"How do I bring a flower?" Ren asks rubbing the back of his head. "No, silly, not a flower! Flour, like in baking!" Nora explains. "Why would I need that?" Ren asks again.

"I... uh... no, it's your symbol!" Jaune shouts. "Sooo, what are we?" Pyrrha asks Jaune. "Pyrrha, you and I are Arkos. It's that thing when we take our shields? Remember?" Jaune tries to jog Pyrrha's memory.
